We traveled to St Paul for the Montreal-Minnesota PWHL game amid a winter snowstorm. We arrived early, and Kristy at the front desk went above and beyond to help and make us feel welcome! She helped us with pool time, an early check-in, and directions to the arena. She also gave us personalized recommendations for spending time in St. Paul and helped us when we needed to extend our stay. Staying at SpringHill was seamless and a highlight of our trip. Location, room comfort, and breakfast were all excellent, but honestly - it was Kristy at the front desk who really made the difference. Thank you!

Very spacious rooms and super clean! Beds were very comfortable. Had all facilities as mentioned in description while booking. Breakfast was really good. Thoughtful items like kitchen roll and dishwashing liquid provided as well as kitchen napkins. Fridge and micro oven was a bonus! Reception was very accomodating allowing for late check-out and luggage storage available.

Great location and affordable parking on site. Very cool lobby area and great rooms. Other perks were what they call “kick back” from 5:30 to 7 every day which includes a few free drinks and food. Honestly would never stay at a different hotel again.

A Graduate hotel located behind the University of Minnesota. The antique-style lobby is impressive, and the staff were all very friendly. While the facilities show some signs of age compared to other nearby hotels, this also means you can save on room rates, which is a notable advantage.

I knew it was going be cold - I had anticipated -2 degrees celsius. I wasn't expecting -17 degrees celsius and a lot of snow. The city council did an incredible job keeping the roads and pavements safe but obviously it did make exploring a little harder than anticipated. However - We visited the famous Mall of America and a NFL game at US Bank stadium, also wandered down to the Stone Arch bridge over the frozen (!) Mississippi. It was a weekend so all the bars downtown were very busy but we managed to get seats and tables with patience and service was always excellent

The hotel is nicely updated, the rooms are stylish and have all of the amenities. The only thing I didn't like is that our room was WAY on the other end of the hallway and my husband is blind. But that wasn't the hotel's fault.

DON'T EVER STAY HERE. I needed police interference for what was going on outside the hotel. Shenanigans going on day and night, unclean, unmonitored, sketchy neighborhood, felt like a brothel, no peace or relaxation, should be shut down immediately.

It's extremely in bad condition and location.Very uncomfortable location and untrained staff. There was very very bad smell in the room.Very very small wash room. The price is extremely high.In this price or little more a person can stay in a very good hotel in the city. I would recommend people to please avoid this hotel and stay in a proper place while booking on line.

Exceptional value.

Exceptional value. The pool is amazing, loved how warm it was, always plenty of pool towels. Nice hot and cold options at the continental breakfast. Bed was super lumpy, so it wasn't the greatest sleep. Housekeeping staff were phenomenal!! Super convenient location right off of 94. Will definitely stay here again.

Not much good about this place.

Not much good about this place. Bed had blood stains and we had to change our own sheets. No bedding for the pull out but we booked for 3 people. Big stain on the pull out cushion. Went to frontcdesk to tell them I did not think we should have to change out sheets and that the room should not have been Made available until it was cleaned properly. I asked for another room and we went up to that room and it was so smelly we could smell the stink in the hall before we opened the door. We stayed in the first dirt room. The staff was moving furniture in the morning and did not wait for use to use the elevator instead basically went infront of us and made use wait. Only one elevator. Staff did not care. On check out I asked for some kind of compensation for the state of our room and us having to change the sheets on our bed. The staff person did not know how to do that. I ask for the manager. They were not available . I asked for the manager to call me so we could discuss. Never got a call or email. Just don't care. People should be aware and find another place to stay.

I like the area, close to things and close to the cities but not to close, so if you are a person who likes to be close enough to the city to visit but not in the city this is defiantly a good option. Getting around isn't hard either which is nice. there aren't many food stops that we found but I'm sure if we looked a little more we defiantly could have.

I needed a place to escape my family for the weekend, and this place was perfect. My one-bedroom suite with a balcony was perfect for sleeping, crafting, watching TV, soaking in the bathtub, and preparing my own simple meals. Having the suite to "live" in for 48 hours was the perfect escape. The hotel was pretty quiet, all things considered, and I enjoyed my stay immensely. I've already recommended this place to my friends who are looking to escape their families for a short break. This hotel is close to my house, and I would happily put up visiting family or friends here if they came to visit.
