The pool is shallow and my son could touch the bottom at the shallow end. The staff also lent us some water wings for my son to swim. The staff were so helpful and kind. The room was really clean and we were provided towels every day. We used the accommodation bikes to get around - one of my favorite places to stay in Vietnam. Super family friendly.

The hotel is nice , new and clean, good quality furnitures. Everything like in the pictures. The staff are really nice and willing to help with enthusiasm whenever we ask something. The place is very near Thung Nang, Tam Coc and Bich Dong pagoda. Bikes are free for use. Breakfast was ok, not many options but always fresh juice and fruits.

Hotel is amazing with it’s natural beauty surroundings. A very welcoming and nice family run the hotel. Honestly, they are the most genuine and friendly people. They welcomed us with juice, tea and fruits and also provided bottles of water and fruits to take with us when we leave. The rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. Free bicycles to use. We wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked out and then kindly gave us a lift to our new hotel as well. Appreciate their kindness.

    The hotel staff and especially manager Hung were so kind and welcoming. The location was relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tam Coc (don't think we would've gotten any rest there). The hotel also helped arrange a private car to Sapa for us at a slightly better price than we could find on our own.

    As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a day or two longer. It's a very laid back area and there is lots to see. We stayed between Trang An and Tam Coc and used bicycles to get around. The quieter location suited us but for younger travellers Tam Coc is more vibrant. The walk to the top of Hang Mua viewpoint is best done in the early morning (we went before breakfast) so it isn't too crowded and not too hot. There were mountain goats roaming around when we walked up (around 7.00am) but they'd gone by the time we descended and more people were arriving. We didn't take the boat ride in Tam Coc but we took a boat ride in Trang An. The scenery seems more mountainous around Trang An than Tam Coc. On the day we went the water was high so we couldn't go into the caves and there was only one route open, which seemed to be a mix of the other routes. The boat trip lasted around 2.5 hours and was excellent. We also visited the old town at night, which was nice. It's all lit up and there are some good places to eat on the waterfront. Bich Dong temple is also worth visiting. There is a staircase leading up to a smaller shrine and to the left of that there is a passage through a bat cave and up to another small shrine outdoors.

    I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

    The view is stunning.

    The view is stunning. I was shocked of how beautiful and cleaned this city is. You can enjoy cycling around the city under the quiet, historic and cultural atmosphere. At the famous landmarks, there was no scam or shoving, hustling, jostling. The goat meat in Ninh Binh is so delicious
