We were positively surprised how nice the hotel was. Beautiful design of every detail, friendly staff, excellent food and stunning views of the mountains. I wish we could spend a few more nights there as the city looked very cute and worth exploring.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The location offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The peaceful and serene atmosphere allowed us to truly unwind and relax. One of the highlights was the variety of friendly pets and farm animals. We loved interacting with them, and you have the option to feed the farm animals—it was such a wholesome experience. The host was fantastic, with great communication from start to finish, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, animals, and stunning scenery, this is the place to be. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to visit again!

We arrived very early (5 hours before check in) and they accommodated us without any issues. The staff is incredible and always assisted when needed. I forgot my purse and they called us right away when we left and returned it to us when we got there-the service was amazing! The property is perfectly located if you want a rest night on your way to Durban as it’s right off the highway which was perfect! The bed slept great!!

    As you can see on their account, they said that they are a “pet-friendly”. Before we went to the property, I called them and I talked to a lady, informing that we have a “tea cup size dog”. And when we arrived at the property, they moved us in a smaller (to which we did not booked) and they charged us for a R100 for bringing a pet. But, as I checked their account, “you can bring pet with no extra charge”. They giving a misleading information. And the old man is very rude to my husband, the moment he saw my husband carrying our dog he says with a rude approach “so what you gonna do now, we do not allow pet! So what you gonna do?” Also, I think we are a victim of racism.

    This is a hidden gem! We needed a place last-minute and found Acacia. It far exceeded the price! From the gated parking to the private patio, large room, microwave/fridge, large separate shower and tub, and the extra sherry treat, I am blown away! Would definitely stay here again. I only wish I had time to relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds and sparkling pool. Will recommend to anyone driving around South Africa!

    It's a friendly city no wonder is a City of Roses. Great night life, sports facilities and accommodation. I enjoyed attending games at Toyota Stadium or Petrus Molemela stadium 🏟 The gave wonderful restaurant such McDonald's, Spur, & cinemas Bloemfontein is easily accessible and to move around.

    Clarens is a nice place to visit. We enjoyed the galleries there , the food and the drive was out of this world . Nice site seeing and the activities for the family. We loved the shops offering a variety of things from clothes, bags, food,art and etc.

    Main street still very pretty, with lots of quaint little shops. Restaurant / Coffee Shop choices are more limited than we expected... several places are advertised but no longer exist. The rest of the town (anything a block away from the main street) is in terrible shape - roads and buildings dirty and in complete disrepair, feels very unsafe. Vaal de Grace is excellent for golfers - beautiful area and course is in great shape. Didn't get a chance to play Parys Golf Club

    Harrismith is a very very cold place in, winter. Whilst the location and everything in the cottage was excellent, we could not enjoy the stay due to the cold and no heaters. If it's specified that there will be no heaters in winter and no fans in summer, then either we carry our own heaters or fans, or look for, alternate accommodation. The roads in Harrismith are terrible.

    Had a private little well maintained garden with private seating area to sit outside and enjoy the garden. Premises is well secured with electric gate, security camera's and security gates. Room is nice and spacious with a lot of cupboard space. TV is nice and big. Kitchen has a kettle, fridge and a microwave. Nice coffee, sugar, milk, water and biscuits was in the room. Nice size basin to wash up in with dishwash soap. Just needed a kitchen cloth and towel. Space was well utilized for the layout of the room, kitchen and shower. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Overall, comfortable and felt safe.

    The clean well maintained unit was Great. The reception staff ,security and restaurant staff were all very friendly. Recommendations The reception staff can maybe promote the restaurant/ dining area we had to ask if it is open and available for dinner. The lights at the reception entrance inside the outside of restaurant and restaurant foyer are extremely dull. I recommend some nice bright lighting will definitely add to the ambiance. The food was good value for money. Stay was Great!

    Kronstad is such a small nice place to visit.

    Kronstad is such a small nice place to visit. The issue of potholes is the municipal issues. If potholes could be fixed, it will be nice to drive around. The shops and mall are very close in the area. You get everything within small radius. Boskoppie was also outstanding.

    If you are planning to hike the Tugela Falls and want to start early, I highly recommend staying at the lodge for the night. We had a warm welcome, a clean room and a breakfast buffet. There is free parking on site.

    Quaint little town. Extremely friendly people. Roads are horrendously bad…close to non existent in most areas. Spitsies (pardon the spelling) is a nice little venue to meet with friends for a cold beer and delicious meal.
