The swimming pool was beautiful but only open from 10am-6pm

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gaia Garden and I must say, it was truly a remarkable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff that set the tone for our entire stay. The cleaners at the hotel were nothing short of amazing. Our housekeeper, Tila, was an absolute gem. She not only kept our room spotless and immaculately clean but also went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Her daily check-ins to see if we needed anything were a thoughtful touch that truly elevated our experience. I must also commend the exceptional service provided by the front desk agent, Xheni. When we mentioned that our flight was scheduled for later in the day, Xheni graciously arranged for a late check-out and even went the extra mile to set up a shower for us to freshen up before our departure. Her kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed and made a lasting impression on us. Thank you to the entire team at Gaia Garden for making our stay so special. We cannot wait to return in the future!

It was a very clean hotel, all area; the rooms, the pool and surrounding, the breakfast area and the reception area were neat and clean. The reception staff was exceptionally warm and nice.

Amazing reception and a completely blissful experience all together

I don’t know where to begin, the resort was absolutely incredible! We booked for the weekend but we should’ve booked for the whole week! And we are already talking about coming back here next year. Firstly, the staff are amazing, they are nice, professional and incredibly helpful, the friendly atmosphere is admirable! The food and drinks are amazing, we took the all inclusive option, and we also had dinner at the restaurant in one of the nights, and it was really really good. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough!

The staff was amazing and always smiling. The hotel is truly child-friendly. Our room was very close to the restaurant and pools, which was great — but even if it wasn’t, there were buggies available. It was our first time traveling with a child and we felt so comfortable. A great value-for-money place.

The host was very kind and extremely helpful. They were well-prepared and even provided us with a list of places to visit—because local advice is always the best advice. The place was clean and beautiful, conveniently close to the city center and just steps away from the popular beach bar. Everything was perfect—we will definitely return next time.

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and even upgraded us to a penthouse suite. The room was absolutely perfect: spacious, spotless, beautifully designed with a luxurious style, and every detail was carefully thought out. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean, the service was outstanding, and everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They truly turned our vacation around. If it were possible to give a score higher than 10, I absolutely would. I highly recommend Lago Hotel to anyone visiting Kos. We will definitely be back!

An absolutely exceptional stay! This is, without a doubt, the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed at. Everything exceeded our expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning, and every detail of the hotel has been carefully designed to create a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The two large swimming pools were amazing, and the ambiance throughout the hotel was simply perfect. The music playing in every area was fantastic and created a wonderful vibe from morning until night. One of the highlights for us was the incredible open-air gym. It is beautifully designed and equipped with premium, high-end retro fitness equipment, making it one of the most unique and impressive hotel gyms we have ever seen. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of delicious, high-quality food. Every meal we had was exceptional, and the drinks were equally excellent. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was professional, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The level of service was truly first-class. We honestly couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, and we would return without hesitation. This is genuinely an address I’d recommend if you’re coming to Kos. It’s only 10 to 15 minutes from the center, so it’s very easy to reach, and it’s located right next to the sea. The hotel itself is so complete. It stays fairly small and pleasant, so it never feels crowded, but at the same time there are so many services available. The cleanliness is spotless, the hotel is brand new, and the staff are lovely, kind, and very professional. The service was impeccable. We had dinner at the hotel and I highly recommend the dishes, especially the Greek salad and the stuffed ravioli. The cocktails are excellent too. They organize a lot of events at the hotel, whether it’s a DJ in the middle of the afternoon or singers and musicians, so there’s always a nice atmosphere that still stays calm and relaxed. The hotel is truly beautiful, and what you might not immediately realize is that they also have a spa, and it’s a really complete one, with a large pool, sauna, hammam, cold room, massages, and you can even get your nails done. They also have a gym, which is rare for this type of place, and it’s very large and well equipped with real machines. This is honestly the perfect hotel whether you’re traveling as a couple or even alone. It’s so well equipped that you don’t even feel like going out.

We enjoyed staying here! Superb location, literally short walking distance from everything you need to see in Kos town. Also the host was super helpful about everything. If ever in Kos we would recommend, especially for friends or solo travelers.

This is a great place to stay with a toddler. Our 1.5 year old had so much fun! The staff was amazing, very friendly. The food was also very good! It’s walking distance from the city center, which was great. We will definitely come back!

Our family has been coming to Hotel Platanista for over 30 years. My sister and I grew up spending our summers here with the wonderful Platanista family. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as extended family. The staff are incredible … devoted and dedicated to giving guests the best possible experience with attention and care. The Animation team continues to foster a familial-like experience offering activities for all ages — from morning aqua-gym to nightly dance parties for the children. The rooms have been newly renovated with tasteful designs, warm tones, and the softest mattresses. The food is also superb; fresh, local, and simple ingredients make for delicious Greek dishes made with intention and practice. There is something truly special at Hotel Platanista, and I feel very grateful to return every year. P.S. be sure to try their pistachio ice cream!

The service was excellent, the location was perfect and close to beach, and the staff were really nice. It also has great access to the bus station.
