We had an excellent stay at Stara Kala Varoš in Split and highly recommend this place. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with outstanding attention to cleanliness and maintenance, making us feel comfortable from the very first moment. The host was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful, always available for any questions or recommendations, with fast and friendly communication throughout our stay. The location is perfect — situated in a quiet area, yet just a short walk from the Old Town, main attractions, restaurants, and the beach. Everything is easily accessible on foot, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. Overall, Stara Kala Varoš offers excellent value for money and is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Split. We would definitely stay here again!

Very good location, next to the beach, supermarkets, old town. Cozy apartment, which has everything you need. Very comfortable bed! We stayed at Makarun Heritage Rooms for two nights and absolutely loved our stay!! The hosts Mario and Luka are just extraordinary!! The location was perfect, the room was sparkling clean, very nice and modern, the bed was super comfy, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, served to order, and perfectly presented. Everything was the highest quality, to the smallest details. We reserved a parking spot since there are no cars allowed in the Old Town. Luka was waiting for us at the parking lot together with his colleague who took all our luggage to our room on a cargo bike. On our short walk to the hotel Luka gave us a brief introduction of Split. He is so warm and welcoming. He also gave us personal recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Split. We met Mario the next morning at the breakfast, and he is amazing. After breakfast he gave us an unforgettable tour of the Diocletian Palace with some personal touches - he has 600-year roots in Split! At the end of our stay we had a ferry to catch early in the morning, so they packed a breakfast for us, and their colleague was waiting for us at 7:30 am to take our luggage to the parking lot. Amazing experience, perfect in every way! Unmatched hospitality and unforgettable memories of Split!
