Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The resort is amazing, and a lot of tours are offered by them. Breakfast was good, food was fresh, including coffee and tea. The location is a little bit far away from everything else - we chose it on purpose like that but to highlight for another tourist.

Set by Lake Kilpisjärvi off the E8 motorway, this resort is within 7 km of the Swedish and Norwegian borders. It offers cottages and apartments with private saunas, full kitchens and free Wi-Fi. Spotlessly clean cabin with a stunning view of the birch forest and Saana Tunturi. The tap water was the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the cabin itself, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I’d love to come back someday!

I’m not sure there’s enough to space to properly express how much we loved Jauri Resort. From the moment we arrived (and found out they had upgraded us for our 11 night stay) we were in love. Firstly, the staff was very communicative even before we arrived. We had to arrange a late check in, which was no problem at all. Once we were settled in to our beautiful cabin we realized Jauri is the best of both worlds. If you’re a traveller who prefers a self-sufficient Airbnb style place - this can be it. You have a kitchen and a private sauna and everything you need for an independent holiday. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked, it’s the perfect little apartment. However, if having a convenient restaurant steps from your door is something you want, they have that too. We enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful and will organize anything you need. Tours can be started from your front door. We happened to stay during a cold snap (sub -35°) and after our little hybrid rental car decided to freeze up the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They organized a late check out and helped us find the easiest way to the airport. And all of this while being so lovely and friendly. My reviews seldom run this long, but in this case it is necessary. Both my husband and I can 100%, whole heartedly recommend Jauri Resort. We’re already trying to decide when to come visit again. The place was absolutely stunning. The views with the tree and frozen lake in the background were unbeatable. Big place with a nice sauna. Great price.would highly recommend to all.

Aurora Queen Resort Igloos nằm ở Saariselka và có quầy bar. Ngoài trung tâm thể dục, resort 5 sao này còn có các phòng với điều hòa được trang bị Wi-Fi miễn phí, trong đó mỗi phòng đều có phòng tắm... The staff was very friendly and the owner of the resort was very friendly, and also the owner of the place offered us , other places to spend a special time.

Aurora Village Ivalo is situated in Ivalo and offers cabins with a glass roof, offering the possibility to spot the Northern Lights from the bed. Everything. The entire experience is just unbelievably outstanding. We spent 2 nights at the hotel and the room, breakfast and dinners were just beyond expectation. And as a cherry on the top we were lucky to see the Aurora just from our window! Thank you very much for all the people that made this experience possible!

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available. Absolutely delicious dinner! Breakfast not quite as fantastic, but still very good (morning shift staff Butz and May were amazing!); the cabin is so cozy and well equipped (panoramic window and views to the forest were magical); excursion options were varied and started from the hotel - lead guide Abraham as well as guide Pedro were super supportive! And yes, Northern lights were visible as well (hotel’s aurora alarm is accurate)!
