Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is located on Galu Beach and 10 km away from the Ukunda Airstrip. This boutique hotel features water sport facilities, an outdoor pool and restaurants. Everything is beautiful! Garden is so green, a lot of palms on the beach. The staff are very polite. The manager Pamela was so helpful in many things, she helped us to rent a motor bike with locals, and had organize a cake for our anniversary as a surprise.

I absolutely loved every single person I came to contact with at the hotel, the service here went ABOVE AND BEYOND! I have been to many resorts and this one surpassed all of them. I loved how fresh the food was (all meals are a la carte) including even the ice cream! Also the pools are absolutely amazing, clean and well kept! And the quiet is just on another level 10/10

The Majlis Resort is located in Lamu with views of the Ras Kitau Bay on Manda Island. Everything!!!! Stunning environment, very quiet and peaceful. They have the best spa and amenities. The sweetest and nicest staff ever, they really made our stay worthwhile

The place was incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable. While there are some older cottages on the property, I was lucky to stay in one of the newer ones — and it was absolutely beautiful. Thoughtfully designed, modern, and serene — it felt like the perfect blend of charm and comfort.

There was a full menu for lunch, dinner, snacks and fruit drinks. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
