This place is great for family retreat, especially when 2-3 families move together with kids. Vivaldi Ocean World and Play Park is very close, although this Sono Village Facility is not directly connected, but up in the mountains. However, with fodo and drink, for a separate family gathering, it's perfect!

The staff was gracious and kind, and the food on site was excellent. There were so many choices and it did not seem overpriced as so many higher end resorts are prone to do. My family regretted only booking two nights--we should have booked an entire week to do all the things there!

Really good hotel to stay at if visiting the National Park Staff didnt speak English but did her best to communictate with us and were helpful The room was big and spacious and had a very well equipt kitchen. We booked the studio room but was surprised to get a room with a seperate extra bedroom Overall it is great place to stay. Its a short 20min walk to the entrance of the National Park. There is a 7/11 and a coffee shop right across the lane As for the hotel itself - The decor and feeling to the hotel was that it was a bit dated and has probably seen better days but for us this added to the charm. It wasnt run down in any way. The area around the hotel had alot of closed down premises, mainly hotels, but again, this added to stay and created a bit of intrigue as to why there was such a decline in the area

Overlooking the sea, Lotte Resort Sokcho features a water park, fitness centre and restaurants. Sokcho Beach can be reached in under 10 minutes by car. Amazing room with ocean view. Clean and spacious room. Lots of activities to do with children. The infinity pool and water park were superb. Tried the Korean bbq restaurant, eating outside in a tent, which was really yummy. Superb location. Friendly staff.
