Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I came on our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. The safari organisation was so easy, we had our own jeep and a great driver. We got picked up, taken to the park about 10 mins away, had breakfast and lunch provided to us and saw lots of animals. On our second day of safari we sat eating our breakfast watching a leopard!! What more could you want. The Ceylon contacted us before we arrived to organise the safari and it worked like clockwork. The room was very clean and spacious, the food was EXCELLENT! We had to get the recipe for one of the curries from the buffet (highly recommend having that, very authentic buffet). Roshan was the most amazing and hilarious host making us feel very welcome and entertaining. He was very happy to help with anything we asked. You can tell they have put a lot of effort And money into making the place nice, and also safe (elephants etc). Amazing chilled vibes and nice other guests to chat to about your day on safari. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a little slice of paradise. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were gorgeous – spacious, clean, and with such a lovely rustic vibe that really makes you feel close to nature. Waking up to those views was just amazing. We loved how many activities there were to choose from. Kitesurfing was a definite highlight – the instructors were fantastic and made the whole experience so much fun. The yoga classes were also such a great way to relax and unwind after an active day. And the food – wow! Every meal was packed with fresh, local ingredients and full of flavor. They were so accommodating with dietary preferences too, which made everything so easy. What really stood out to us was how much they care about sustainability and supporting the local community. It’s not just a beautiful place to stay; it feels like you’re part of something meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing, and adventure-filled getaway, we can’t recommend Anawasal enough!

Location was tranquil and beautiful. The food was also AMAZING. Delicious and generous portions. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The building itself is also lovely and our room felt very luxurious.

The location is isolated, in a beautiful garden on the edge of a quiet sandy beach. Transport is readily available thanks to Klaus. The pool is amazing, breakfast and dinner suited us perfectly.
