Absolutely stunning place - scenery is spectacular and accommodation is second to none. The design of the accommodation is stylish and contemporary. The villa was very well appointed, every need was met and everything was of the highest quality. It was clear that the owners really understand what is important to guests at this price point and didn't fail to deliver. The staff, especially Nivalda, were lovely, so kind and helpful. They are on hand when needed without being intrusive. Breakfast had plenty of choice with fresh food delivered to the villa daily. There was plenty of fresh bread and cold meats and cheeses to make up a packed lunch too which was great for our walking trips. Pool and sauna are beautifully located to maximise the natural beauty of the location. The privacy was excellent. The villas are cleverly positioned to avoid guests disturbing one another and the intimacy of the venue means you typically have the pool and sauna entirely to yourself. Our only regret was not booking for a longer stay. We'll be back.

The luxurious Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort is set amidst tropical gardens in the Bay of Funchal, featuring 2 heated lagoon-style pools and private ocean access. Delicious! Well done! Chef was very involved and the results are there. All staff were kind and helpful. Loved our room, it was an upgrade with a larger balcony and kitchen. We were gifted each day with water and sweets with a welcome basket of fruit. The best is the incredible care and sheer beauty of the landscaping around the hotel and the pools! Lovely!

Nằm ở Arco da Calheta, Luxury villa with private heated pool, garden and views of the sea and mountains. We have traveled a lot, but this villa really exceeded our expectations - at a fair price. Beautiful location with wonderful views to the ocean and the mountains. Spotlessly clean especially given the large size of house and garden. Except from A/C (the lack of which is clearly advertised), all amenities are there, including a fantastically equipped kitchen (finally a house with enough plates, glasses, pots, pans and cuttlery!), a bbq & wood-fired pizza oven, all types of kitchen machines, a washer and dryer, sufficient and comfy towels, swimming towels, robes & slippers, etc. The pool is nice-size and clean, the garden very well-maintained. Several spaces to hang out, lounge and relax, with dozens of comfy cushions. Special shout-out to the beautiful, comfortable outdoor eating space. Beds and pillows are AMAZING, and during the night there's a nice, cooling breeze. Bathrooms, although a tiny bit outdated, are clean and comfortable with enough water pressure. Nice sound system. We were welcomed like nowhere else: we could drop off our luggage before check-in time, there was a welcome basket and even fresh flowers! Communication throughout was swift and friendly, we signaled a minor issue and it was picked up immediately. This house is truly managed and maintained at highest standards. Congratulations to the team! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with a large size group (we were 8p), don't hesitate to book this house.

I would also like to highlight the delicious food in the restaurants and the attentive, caring staff, who are always ready to help you and greet you warmly with a smile. The hotel’s infrastructure is also well-maintained and clean, and the beach is spotless.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. Hotel was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nightly entertainment was a bonus.
