Zama Resort Koh Phangan is located along Haad Chao Phao Beach in Koh Phangan, a 10-minute walk to Secret Beach. Very good location, friendly staff. Near by, very nice city with a lots of restaurants and bars. The beach nearby - one of the most beautiful and calm. The scooter rental was next door. Nice all day breakfast. In the hotel they gave us everything we need - free water was given every day, mosquito repelent, beach towels and a beach bag. Even the cookies for snacks :)

Sunset Hill Boutique Resort Koh Phangan sits atop a tropical hill overlooking Koh Phangan's west coast and enjoys panoramic sea views. We booked the corner-view room and oh my god, what a magnificient view it was! To wake up but also to go to sleep and watch the sunset. The free drink in the morning was a nice-to-have. The pool was marvelous! Also the stunning view you have when you’re in it, just wow! The staff is super friendly, they take your luggage to your room. They even arranged a last-minute ferry booking for us. A major plus is the shuttle van that takes you up and down the hill which you’d very much like in that heat. They can also pick you up at the pier for a reasonable price since there are no Bolts or Grabs operating on the island. Yes, it is a more expensive hotel but now I know why, and it is worth it!

The hosts are amazing, very kind and welcoming. Always in touch when needed and making sure we are well accommodated, even helped us with a ride as we arrived late. The place feels like a little piece of heaven with a beautiful view of the forests and mountains. Waking up to this view in the morning was dreamy. From fresh towels that smells lovely, very comfortable bed and soft pillows and hot water, they even provide a microwave and complimentary coffee. It is very clean and cozy, absolutely recommend.

Each bungalow has its own private terrace with a hammock and a beautiful sea view – perfect for relaxing. The rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard, and the staff is kind, warm, and welcoming. Sissi, the manager, is truly exceptional – I don’t have enough words to describe her. From the very beginning, she provided us with a detailed list of recommended restaurants, beaches, and massage places in the area, helped us arrange a motorbike, and when we changed rooms during our stay, she personally helped us move all our belongings smoothly and with great care. Laundry service is available through the property with no extra commission, which is very convenient. The beach itself is beautiful, with excellent restaurants, cafés, and bars all along the shore, just a short walk away. I highly recommend Mangata – a peaceful, high-quality place with a wonderful atmosphere. Already looking forward to coming back next year.
