Next time I will try to get a room further from the highway (traffic noise was a bit annoying).

hot tub was unfortunately out of service this week. However, Staff compensated us for it, which was nice.

King Beds in the executive were very good. Executive cabins were beautiful.

It was nice however our room didn’t have a sign to indicate that we wanted turn down service so our room was only cleaned once throughout our 5 night stay even though we asked for a sign to be out in our room. We had to ask for towels and sheets to change ourselves.

It wasn't clear from the description that the main bedroom is accessed via another bedroom, which is really a mezzanine providing access to the stairs and the balcony. Also that the upstairs bathroom is an ensuite so not directly accessible from the mezzanine bedroom. The proximity to the highway makes it a bit noisy until the truckers stop for the night, and for anyone staying on the sofa bed, the heating vents are also a bit noisy - although you quickly get used to it!

Loved the space and the balcony in the cedar lodge suite - and the beds are super comfortable. The facilities in the main building are also great (games room, DVDs, endless coffee, free pastries), as is the hot tub! Staff were very friendly and informative, and parking is super easy.

Beautiful cabins. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day. It was nice to be able to make our own meals and enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire.

Location caught us off guard… we arrived quite late to realise any chance of a meal was a 30min drive away to Jasper or back to Hinton. There was nothing really available for a dinner as such from the kiosk. Don’t forget to stop and grab some groceries/ staples. Toilet paper was a bit rough too, lol…

We wanted cabin charm and that’s what we got. Family enjoyed the Games room and tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate facilities with cookies and muffins. Cabin was spacious, clean and they had laundry facilities. We were also able to check out an extra 1hr later.

Noise from the highway. Had we not been upgraded, likely we would not have enjoyed our stay. I did not realize how close the original booking was to the road. Unfortunately, we would likely not be able to afford the cabin to which we were upgraded.

The shower was not the greatest. The dispensers were on the side of the wall and not at the end (opposite the taps). My partner and I kept hitting our elbows on the shampoo dispensers and bruising our arms. Stocking the kitchen with a little more would have been nice.

Bed and fireplace were nice. The bathroom and Kitchen were great. We enjoyed the view and the quiet atmosphere. Very private.

You cannot turn on the fireplace whenever you want. It’s the heat source and runs automatically. Also very small flame. not the fire in a cabin you would imagine

The kitchen could use a bit more in the way of dishes for cooking - just a small frying pan, and a pot with the handle falling off in the way of cooking items. A trip to a garage sale would help. Also would have liked it if the outdoor hot tub was actually hot and had working jets.

The king size beds were super comfortable and the place was very quiet.
