To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

CanadaWe asked for earlier checkin when we booked and when we got there our room wasn't ready, we even called the day of to make sure. There was a young women working at the front checking people I and she was really slow, the employee working next to her had 3 couples ready to go in the time she had one. Also the elevators took alot of time. At one point people were lined up to the front entrance waiting, I dont know how seeing as there are 4 elevators.
Cleanliness, well taken care of, close to amenitys.

Design: I am a designer. What I care more is the design and branding system 360 in a hotel. That is why I would choose an Autograph Collection Boutique Hotel rather than a typical hotel. I love everything they put together, from interior design to little things like slippers quality and the use of Aseop skincare. I can see detail is in everything. Really well put together with great taste. Worth the price! Stay: For my 2 weeks stay in Vancouver, I am extremely busy everyday. I would get up super early and coming back to hotel in almost midnight. Every time I come back late in Douglas, I was able to destress and find my peace of mind right away. I guess this is a successful sign of a good boutique hotel experience. Service: The staff is so nice and polite. They would answer and find a solution for all your needs. Dinning Room service: It was suprisingly good! Breakfast room service is normally just fine but not in Douglas. I had the MD BBQ Brisket Hash Brown. The portion is big, enough for a brunch! I usually don't like eating meat but this mix of brisket slices and salad was really well balanced with a hit of basil sauce is just devine! Recommandation: I would recommande Douglass and would definitely come back again! I would love to visit other Autograph Collection Hotel!

CanadaOur room was directly above the D6 Lounge so the music was heard very clearly until 1am. Our server at the D6 Lounge was not good. The valet employee broke my keyring by trying to rip the elastic band off rather than cut it. (Just a note for future!) I wish there were more food options open past 12am.
Location, Style (everything about this hotel is so swanky), Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Comfortable beds/pillows. High end fixtures.
