Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was very small, not a lot of space for luggage. Value wasn't great, but I think in Canmore it's pretty much on par.
Good location, pretty close to the busier parts of town. Free parking was great. Clean and well stocked.

Check in info was lost before check in- no front desk and had to call for help. No hot tub. A little far from the main street

We liked that was en apartment, and we had private parking, a lot of cookwear, nice bed, coffe, thea,.... Next time for sure in the same place.

The only thing I would say wasn’t the best was for my entire stay there was no staff. When I had issues or questions I would have to message the owners. This wasn’t really bad it was just unexpected.
Property is in a great location and the facilities were also fantastic. I loved the seat by the window it was really nice and most mornings I would enjoy my breakfast here. TV was a smart TV so I could connect my Netflix which was really nice. Bed was comfortable and bathroom facilities also great.

They could have conditioner supplied but everything else was pretty great.
The beds were incredibly comfy it was quite cute, they had water and cups for you with a little table. It was very cute, the room was kind of small but for two people it works pretty well.

The self-serve check in made arriving confusing. Our cabinet was missing dishware, and our hosts (who we could only contact via text) wouldn't believe me at first when I told them which I found disrespectful.
The room and bathroom were both very clean, and we felt safe. We liked the coded door so we didn't have to keep track of key cards during our stay. The small kitchen appliances were great to have too, especially the kettle and the microwave. This is excellent staying on a budget, because it met all of our needs.

When I use the remote for the wall mounted heat the t.v gets affected and turns to a different channel.
Fireplace. Heated floor. Good t.v comfy. Lots of amenities.

Lack of clear understanding regarding the codes until I read through the email again. Cleaning staff were of no help at all. Bit far from the town centre.

It has such a homely feeling that the building just needs a laundry facility for guests
Convenient location and the room had its own parking bay. The view of the mountains was also spectacular!

The elevator carpets were stained and seemed to smell of oil or fuel which was unfortunate, other than that everything was great.
The apartment was a lot nicer than I had expected and was very spacious which was great as a family travelling. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was really clean. It was very easy to check in and out as it was all done remotely using codes. The location is great as it is just a few minutes from the center of Canmore town and roughly 30 minutes drive to Banff.

The actual apartment we had no problem with but the elevator was really smelly and other people made the same comment.
The pull out bed was amazing and very comfortable, everything you need for an apartment vacation, the under ground parking was great a little tight but we were still able to get our Santa Fe in with no problem.

The room was rather small with very crowded facilities such as microwave and kettle etc. Also an issue that the electrical supply couldn't cope with more than one electrical device at any time.

Canmore was a lovely town with some great eating places. The property was modern, clean and a great base for the 2 days we spent visiting the park in early June. Secure parking was a further bonus.
