    “We loved everything about this hotel, the staff are so freindly and attentive. We stayed in the Sheperds Hut room and it was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant is the best I have ever eaten on my travels.”

He also saved us missing our ongoing transport as we hadn’t realised Punta Arenas is an hour ahead of Santiago. Be careful because our iPhones hadn’t automatically adjusted. Breakfast very good. Stay here, it’s so lovely. ♥️”

This well-maintained hotel exudes the authentic English atmosphere of a 1980s guesthouse. Friendly host Roberto goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. He's always available to provide additional information and assistance, or to offer a delicious, simple breakfast (excluding fresh fruit). The location is also ideal for walking to the Strait of Magellan, O'Higgins Street with its many restaurants, and the Plaza de Armas. Even though it's winter and whale watching or penguin nesting sites aren't possible, Punta Arenas, with its museums and delicious restaurants, offers a pleasant way to explore southern Patagonia.”
