The only downside was finding out you must wear a swim cap to use the pool. I understand it’s for hygiene purposes but we didn’t want to buy a swim cap just to use the pool once.

Katherine, the Duty Manager, was so welcoming from the moment we stepped into the hotel. She helped us check-in and kindly upgraded our room as it was our first stay at the hotel. She was very helpful and showed us where to go for breakfast. The room was lovely, very spacious, and furnished in a traditional style. You could order extra or different pillows if you didn’t like the ones provided. The bathroom was my favourite - I have never seen a bigger and deeper bath in my life! Free bath salts are provided to soak after a long day of shopping. Breakfast was nice and was different each morning so this added some variety to the stay. When we come back to Shenzhen, we will definitely stay here again.

Getting a bit old. Interior decor

Only negative I would say is the breakfast. The breakfast is mainly for Chinese people as there is very limited variety for foreigners. Even beans and hash brown are not available so please improve breakfasts for us foreigners and the hotel would be perfect.

I've stayed here many times and I'd say it's the best hotel in Shenzhen. Close to the train station and border. Peter who is the head of concierge is amazing. He has been here for many years and always makes our stay wonderful helping with all matters. Brilliant service.

Everything was really good,from reception to checkout..everything went smoothly.staff at reception was really helpful for guiding us and arranging cabs for local transport.Lynn was very helpful. breakfast spread was good ,had options for vegetarian too.Close to Luoho port and situated in happening area of town.will definitely recommend

Understanding of English by at least one of the reception staff. Due to poor understanding of English, my credit card was charged which was not to be charged, and only blocking the amount was requested by me. Also, why deposit is required when booking is guaranteed by credit card.

I have stayed at this property a lot over the years. It's a hidden gem in Luohu behind the main road with all of the big businesses.

Air-conditioning was very poor and same time ventilation was also bad. I mean that after a few days all cloths smells same (not depending if it was used or not). Breakfast would have more western style food also.

Location was very good. You can find very close many kind of shopping possibilities and restaurants (even garden bar). Hotel had Italian style restaurant (not so good but Italian style anyway)

Beds could be softer! Real coffee at breakfast! The machine coffee is terrible!

It was a very pleasant stay. The building itself was abit aged. but hotel team did best to keep it in a nice way! staff from health sport center Ms.Jiang was very welcoming all the time, shows the best hospitality. Ms Zhang from breakfast was very helpful as well. I would come again to this hotel when I am in Hongkong or Shenzhen area.

Loved everything

Linda at reception was super helpful especially helping me to get a taxi on check out when the rain was really bad. All the staff are friendly and kind. The room was absolutely beautiful (and huge). The quality of the food at breakfast was great.
