Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I did have some issues recouping my deposit but to my understanding it was my card/bank rather than the hotel. However still waited 5-6 weeks to get it back. Did not understand the logic of paying twice.
Well the room is fantastic, the staff is great situated in a quiet area of town but not too far from the main centre of town. Very pleased with it.

SPA should be open at 2 pm on Saturday but the man responsible for that came too late. Breakfast menu can be more rich and diversified.
Very good and quiet location at prestigious district of Munich. Nice room with comfy bed. Pet friendly policy.

I would have liked it to be more in the center of town, but then again it was easy to jump on the shuttle to the airport.

The pillows were not that good. Laundry service is very expensive (at least for us). On check in, They don’t explain that it’s free parking on the street every week day from 18h to 8h next day…so you end up paying 25€ for each night.
They were friendly at reception and also at the restaurant.

There was another barman who was completely rude and hence why I will not go back. Also one of the female reception staff was quite rude and the hotel then charged me for my accommodation which I had already paid for to Booking.com months ago.
One Barman, I don’t know his name was very helpful, friendly and spoke fluent English.

Breakfast was not part of the room rate and was priced excessively. Would recommend having a concierge desk at the hotel which is needed (especially for international travelers).
Rooms were spacious, housekeeping were friendly and attentive to requests. U-Bahn station is 2 mins walk away and there is a great supermarket right next to the hotel and a bakery. Spacious basement parking available

No bar/cafe area open until evening to hang out in. Staff seemed a bit generally ambivalent. Could have used a welcome brochue to highlight restaurants/bars/places to visit in the area.
Spacious rooms with lovely balcony areas. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is fantastic. Location is right beside a metro station that brings you to central Munich in minutes. A grocery store is right outside also.

No room servise for drinks to the rooms .. you need to self do it in the front desk… no swimming pool… you need to request tissues all time .. parking you need to pay 26 EUR per night. The breakfast is at minimum delivery…

It was a quick stop in Munich, so we stayed only one night. The hotel is clean, comfortable and new. It’s also in a very good location that is closed to public transportation and Englisch Garten.

That we had to pay €45,00 to check in to our room when we arrived. the rooms were ready but they wouldnt let us check in before 15,.00. I had an email from the hotel saying if they were ready it would be no problem. It was 12.15

The iron was dirty inside so when you fill in water and heat it, steam comes out with dust. It stained my dress.
Breakfast is optional so you can have it whenever you want at the front desk of restaruant. Breakfast was okay.
