Blackout blinds or curtains would have been good to have - I struggle with even a little bit of light, but it didn’t bother my husband.

Very warm welcome on arrival - the staff were very friendly with a good sense of humour! We got a free upgrade which was both unexpected and very much appreciated. Great location for us - quiet area but easy walking to everywhere we wanted to go. Tram station and a great bar Boucan just around the corner.

Very little was not to like. There was a fault with my french doors which wouldn't close, and then wouldn't open, but the air con was good and so it was not much of a problem.

My room was immaculately clean. Water nice and hot. Bed very comfortable. Breakfasts had a good choice of food. Staff - brilliant! Friendly, helpful, always smiling. A great hotel, tucked away just off the main shopping and marinas.

Almost in the seaside promenade of Denia, 2 min walk from restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has car parking for 17 euros per night, so you don't need to drive around to search for the parking.

Great location. The staff was friendly and attentive and quick to respond. Comfortable and clean room. Very good value for money. Safe, gated parking at the hotel and pet-friendly. We had an early ferry departure to Ibiza and they packed us a lovely take-away breakfast. Will definitely recommend.

Liked: Great location, walking distance from downtown. Disliked: Parking was tricky or overpriced. Also the darn constant firecrackers were giving me shellshock and preventing sleep, but that's not the hotel's fault

I honestly can't think of anything

This hotel was fabulous. A friend and I stayed on our way to Andalucia and on the way home. Our journey down was fraught as we got caught up in some storm warnings and weren't sure if we would make it. I ended up cancelling and then rebooking the room and the staff were so incredibly kind to us. The location was perfect and having the safe parking was great as we both had fully loaded cars. We very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet and would happily stay here every time we head south for the winter. My little dog was also chuffed to have a little bed and some bowls for her supper.

Central location especially if arriving by the tram . Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed , nice bathroom. Water in the fridge was a nice touch. Nice selection for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Spacious parking if required.

Very noisy rooms. You could here people in the next room talking and coughing. Cleaning staff dragging furniture in adjacent rooms was so so loud.

Basic rooms, uncomfortable beds, and full blast heating everywhere.

Dog friendly was a plus as not many hotels in Denia are. The receptionist spoke English and was very polite and informative. The hotel is in a great location between the beach and shops.
