Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room and the mini bar/fridge only had a single bottle of water.
Location good for walking around the city and close to the train station. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room smelled a bit at first but a few days of fresh air sorted that out.
Great hotel, close to the Rail Station, close to town focal points and shops. Busy hotel but the staff always helpful.

Service was off-hand and the room was so dark you needed the lights on all the time.

Since there is two buliding connected taking an elevator to one floor, getting out to cross the floor to find another elevator to go to your floor was annoying. Shampoo and soap dispenser was broken. Entering the bathtub dont feel safe.
Location was great and they have parking facility.

Thin walls so you can hear adjoining bedroom conversions. Be aware that the car park ramp is steep if if you have a low sports car.

Nothing to dislike!
Hotel was clean and staff efficient and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the shower, although slightly faulty, was very hot. Parking right outside hotel to check in and offload luggage. Over night car park easy to find after check in and access direct to lobby. Small bar ideal for nightcap!! 10 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor.

The table was to small as I was there for a jigsaw puzzle event and I could not even get a 500 pieces on it.
The bed was more than large enough for one. breakfast buffe was great. Only missed some sliced tomatoes or similar.

Check in took way to long, one member of staff to check in when there is a big que is unacceptable. After 40 minutes to check in we got to our room via two lifts (strange but the only way to access certain rooms) to find the key card for the room hadn't been activated! Bad start.
Room spacious and comfy. Fridge with complimentary water a nice bonus. Comfy double bed. on suite bathroom spacious with great shower. Central location but quite. Luggage storage came in handy

It’s two buildings joint together, but that’s just a small irritation.
Convenient. We stayed for a funeral and had to reschedule, which was apparently difficult at the hotel, but we were able to do it via booking.com. The breakfast is very good value.

The soundproofing was very poor; I could hear everything from the corridor as if it were right next to my bed. The water had an awful smell and taste, but I'm not sure if this issue is specific to the hotel or if it's the same throughout the entire town

The hotel's restaurant was closed and eateries were few and far in between in the neighborhood.
Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the receptionists rode with us in our car from the front door by a circuitous route to the garage entrance which was in another location. The room was comfortable. The location is excellent in the center of the city.

there are only two lifts, relatively slow. It takes some time to catch the lift.
Everything was OK, room was big enough and clean, personnel was proffesional and helpful. Location of the hotel is very good, close to the train station, Campo Grande park, some restaurants and shops. Hotel style is not modern, but not outdated either.
