The fact that there was no parking spot..but it is Paris, it is understandable.

Breakfast was great, personnel very supportive and polite and the room was smaller than expected, but normal for Paris. The location is excellent, close to metro and other transportation making very easy to reach the main objectives in Paris.

The hallway was a bit outdated and the room smelled a bit of fresh paint (though freshly renovated is always a good thing)

The location of the hotel is ideal for travelling on to the UK. The hotel was surprisingly quiet and pleasantly clean! The bathroom was surprisingly modern!

It is great location, very close to Montmartre , very close to train station, and also 15-20min walk to Paris Opera. For someone who wants to be near center , close to location of transport , a lot of small restaurants near hotel.

Room seemed to have been done up recently and was better than I remember in previous visits. There is now a breakfast costing 6.50 euros which is good value. Location nearby Gare du Nord is excellent.

for some reason the hotel did not provide shampoo, so we had to wash our hair with a shower gel. it was also very hot in a room, and we could not control the heating in the bathroom

The area around the station was a bit intimidating at night time. The walls were thin so we could hear everything happening on our floor. Next room switched TV off at midnight so it was fine, but the noise does travel. The staff did what was needed but sadly we didn't see the friendly and helpful staff I read about in other reviews.

Room was clean and the shower room seemed new, although tiny. Convenient for railway station and close to a great bakery. They were fine with us arriving very late at night and allowed us to leave bags during the day.

Noise outside during the night. I slept well but unfortunately my wife didn't.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Nice breakfast for a very reasonable 6.50 euro. Was close to Sacre Ceur, as well as Gare du Nord. Would recommend this hotel.

1. Thin walls between the rooms, so you can hear your neighbors. 2. IMO, the rooms need to be renovated (at least on the 6th floor)

1. Location. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Gare du Nord and the metro station. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. 2. Personnel. Super friendly owners :)

The bathrooms were very new, modern and clean in contrast with the rather dated room decor. The nearest metro station felt somewhat intimidating although the next closest (Poissonnière) was absolutely fine.

Altona hotel has exceeded our expectations, our room was obviously recently renovated, the room was clean and tidy. Location is close to metro but we walked almost everywhere (a lot of city attractions are about 45-min walking distance). All the staff members were nice.

Walls seemed quite thin as I heard the neighbors talking very loudly until approx. 23:30 at night otherwise it was very quiet

short walk to Gare du Nord, interesting and clean neighborhood, very friendly staff, windows facing street well isolated so that the night was calm, reception on watch all night so it felt very safe and secure

Hotel is in a central location , a few minutes walk from Gare Du Nord station and metro just up the road. Hotel and room was basic but good value for money. Had breakfast one morning and again for what we had was good value.

It’s a very clean and friendly hotel, the staff is very nice and the hotel is super close to the Metro station and to the main train station. The room was very good cleaned everyday. It’s literally in Montmartre, personally my favorite block in the city
