The furniture, beds and bedding look very aged - like something out of the 1980's. Very clean but aged. The bathroom door struggled to close.

Big property. Big room. Lots of plugs. DSTV with a full bouquet. Very clean. Lots of towels. Secure. Good shower. Very functional.

There was an unfortunate event with a broken shower door which when reported to the host was dealt with immediately by the host. Which shows a caring approach to guests

Such a peaceful setting, very relaxing particularly after a day spent travelling. I was met as I arrived and shown my room and as it was a cold evening I was told that an electric blanket was available to warm the bed

A warm and friendly greeting, beautifully appointed room with all the luxury amenities. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff, the old-world charm and character of the estate - I will always book Forest Hall when in Port Eizabeth! Thank you to David and his wonderful team.

No real issues. The bathroom door was a bit finicky. The kitchen sink is a bit awkward.

The room was spacious and very comfortable for my little family. The bedding and beds were comfy. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Close to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was just lovely! I liked that there is a mini kitchen so you can heat up food, make tea etc. Our parking was close to our room which was so convenient. The room was clean and they cleaned it while we were out. I would definitely stay here again.

I do think the garden needs a little attention. Hedges needed trimming, grass needs to be fed, . But this would be finding fault on what i genuinely felt was a wonderful place to stay.

We loved the family room - it was very well equipped, clean and had a wonderful bathroom. The staff were friendly and allowed us a late check out. On the whole a very positive experience.

Wonderful relaxing garden with a swimming pool.Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the host. We were given another room by Mike without any problem and could even stay longer because our plane departed late. It is our seventh time at Forest Hall and we have never been disapointed.

The ambiance was great. Lovely and peaceful . Everybody was helpful and made you feel at home. It did not feel like a hotel or just a place to stay. It was spacious and quite. Lovely pool to swim and relax. The room was very nice . lovely bed. Love to stay there again

Forest Hall Guest House is located in a beautiful, large garden, very relaxing environment, ideal for kids as well (there are 2 swimming pools, a trampoline and plenty of space to play). The staff is very friendly and helpful - we were leaving early in the morning, before breakfast time and they prepared for us food to go.

Forest Hall is perfectly located between beach, suburbs and main roads. The rooms were a sanctuary with amazing beds, linen and space. Having air conditioning in the summer heat was a plus
