Small rooms, but this is normal for the city. The location leaves room for desire, it is very close to the metro but the area has rough edges.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Beautiful decor and a nice breakfast. The air-conditioned rooms are clean and small but average (in size) for the city with comfortable beds. The complimentary water, coffee, and delights are a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Taking the stairs isn't a problem for us but there is also a lift.

I don’t like n open shower. Water got everywhere. My room also faced the side street so it was a little noisy but I had earplugs so could get some sleep.

It is beautifully decorated and the tea and coffee and kettle in the room were a great touch. The staff were lovely to talk to and breakfast was amazing! They even let me take some breakfast away on the go as I had to leave very early Saturday morning.

This is probably the case all over Paris but the rooms were very small. I knew this before we visited and didn’t expect it to be a problem, and it wasn’t a big problem, but I couldn’t help but feel a bit claustrophobic. Also, the coffee set was not cleaned each time the room was made up. Again, not a big problem, but just thought that was odd

Really liked the style of this place with all its little flourishes. The hotel was located in a convenient location for us, very close to a Metro station and with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was a bit limited but we did enjoy having something a bit different to a traditional hotel breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Would be happy to stay here again!

We loved it all. The location, the design aesthetic, the value. Staff was welcoming, the cafe was charming to sit outside and have coffee in the morning. The room was small but met our needs perfectly and had thoughtful, design-y touches. The bathroom products smelled divine.

Yes, it is small but as long as you are travelling light it isn't a problem.

Great location, just a very short walk from the metro. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The style of the hotel was just beautiful. I loved my room so much.

Staff quite nonchalant / aimiable among colleagues. Also I understand not 7/7 dinner service but at least one member of staff running the bar is required I’d say. On Sunday we were given the coffee bill at 4pm

Well, the shower head was dripping...but otherwise I loved the room. Might be a push for two people as quite small.

Great location, the rooms are very stylish with nice touches, like real coffee and a delicately flavoured (green) loose tea and Turkish delight as a 'amuse bouche'.

We had a leaking shower which they warned us about on arrival which was annoying when trying to sleep but the complementary earplugs sorted that out.

Lovely room - much bigger than I thought it would be and in a really great location. 2 mins walk away from metro and loads of good bars and restaurants near by.

Hate to say it but I did miss a TV in the room! Also breakfast layout was a bit small and awkward to navigate - could do with extra table or space to rest plate when self serving. A small explanation of offer or extra options would have been nice and location of breakfast offer is in centre of space so everyone watches you struggle!

Staff were very welcoming and attentive, room was perfect clean and well designed with nice details. Overall hotel is very comforting place. Loved the area as well as the Babel restaurant there are also great restaurants and bars around. Would definitely stay again

Everything was really good. The only thing that was missing were some amenities in the room, like a safety deposit box, minibar and a place to hang a long coat / dress. This would make the room just a bit more comfortable. Keep in mind that if you travel with friends and share a room, the bathroom has a glass door.

Babel is such a cool hotel, with a Middle Eastern vibe decor and cuisine. I really love the vibe, the friendly staff, the cocktails and the neighbourhood of Belleville
