Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThere doesn't seem to be a way to reach the hotel by car. We had to park in a public parking first, then check-in and then got our car and park it in the hotel's parking.
The city is very nice. The staff was very friendly. Everything was prepared for us, we just didn't figure out how to unfold the sofa-bed. The breakfast was good.

SpainThe apartment was clean and in a great location, just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The sofa bed was easy to fold out and put away and was very comfortable. The balcony was large and an ideal spot for breakfast or for chilling after a day of sightseeing. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate at reception was a lovely addition and the on site carpark was very convenient, reasonably priced and had huge spaces. The kitchen area was tiny, but had everything we needed including toaster and kettle. The aircon worked brilliantly and was quiet enough to leave running through the night. There were plenty of bars restaurants and super markets in close proximity.

United States of AmericaMy only big negative comment is about rooms located on the street side. Between car traffic, people conversation and tram, it was extremely noisy, even with widows closed which made the room temperature uncomfortably warm. The A / C was inoperative. Had to choose between hot room windows closed or noise windows open !

SpainThe kitchenette is way too small. You can’t prperly cook, just heat up ready meals or frozen food. The bed is quite uncomfortable.
Location in front of the Tram station is extremely convenient. The area is nice and quiet. Free coffee and tea. Enough towels.

United KingdomUnfortunately, we had really poor water pressure in the shower. I think it would have been really hard to wash long hair. Our balcony was facing a street and it was quite loud with the windows opened.
We had a nice room. It was really great to have an apartment and be able to cook whatever you want and put some food in the fridge. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle, kitchen stove, fridge, toaster, necessary dishes.

SpainThe aparthotel seems to be a bit old and in need of renovation. The apartment does not have mops and rags for floors and utensils, which is unfortunate if you are staying for a short 2-3 day stay, but you can ask at reception or buy them, as if you have dogs it is better to have everything on hand. The balcony (we asked for the dogs ourselves) was very dirty as it faces the roadway. I washed it myself, but you can ask the hotel.
it was ok stay, the apartment is few steps from main places of interest. Reception was very good and efficient. There is coffee machine and tea availible 24h on the reception. Dogs can be in inner garden to enjoy fresh air.

SpainQuality of sleep on the sofa. If the sofa was open than there was almost no room to walk. Breakfast wasn't great.
Location was great! The room had a small kitchen, clean, and the living room with the couch was very tiny. If you are sleeping in the main bed is ok, but if you are sleeping on the couch it's not very comfy. The staff was very friendly. We didn't try the breakfast as it was very limited. They are giving water, coffee and tea for free during the day.

BelgiumThe floor of the apartment wasn't clean - we had black feet from walking on it. Hotel parking was inaccessible with a roof box as the height clearance, like a lot of French parking lots, is only 1m90.
