To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Good location for Gare du Nord. The map here is misleading. Come out of the main entrance of the station (the one with the impressive facade). Turn left and walk to the end of the block. Turn left into Rue du Fauborg, and the hotel's on the right-hand side towards the far end. A very convenient location, handy for the station and the Montmartre area, and very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming. Plenty of shops and restaurants around

United States of AmericaThere is construction going on in the facility, mainly the lobby area. Entrance to the hotel is a little obscured and Booking.com had the address listed incorrectly.
The room was nice, albeit somewhat small like most European hotels, but it had air conditioning, which was a bonus! Breakfast was good.

United KingdomI guess the area was not that fancy but food around was good. The room was a bit small but that is what you get in Paris.
It was really quiet. I managed to catch up with some missed sleep and rest between train journeys. I loved the late check out and I was pleased I could check in a little earlier than the actual check in time. The room had everything needed, good lighting, clean kettle coffee and a selection of teas. The room had also a very comfy and large bed.
