Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

KosovoThe hotel needs a renovation in everything. The elevator is extremely small, stairs are narrow and twisty. The rooms are small, no sound proofing, it is very basic.
Location is good, you have everything you need stores etc within walking reach. Metro and bus stations also very close

Czech RepublicWe traveled in November so it was cool in the room. As for cleanliness, our room was cleaned every day... The bed was made, shampoos and towels were changed, but there was a cup holder on the table, which was not wiped once, and the bed linen was not changed during the 5 days of stay.
The hotel is 40 minutes from attractions such as Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre and others. It is located near the metro. Compared to other hotels for this price, we expected worse. The room has a hairdryer, TV, there was no kettle, but it was downstairs on the first floor.

IrelandVery dated and the thinnest walls we have ever experienced staying in a hotel. I would advise earplugs !! You don't want to know what we heard during the night :). They say you get what you pay for but as I booked this though a travel agent I know I spent way too much for this. Not the hotels fault but just be prepared.
Staff were lovely when we were there and the room we had was clean and had a little terrace. We knew the rooms were going to be very small but we had no issue with it.

United KingdomRoom was cramped. Power sockets inconveniently placed at floor level and no place to plug in the small kettle. The nearest socket hidden behind the bedside table and unsafe to use. No teabags or coffee supplied.

GermanyAs I mentioned, the cleanliness in the bathroom and bed was impeccable, the floor of the room is another story, it doesn't have a carpet (which is great) but you notice a bit more dust and dirt on the floor. The room was particularly small and the street was somehow noisy, but the windows help a lot to isolate the noise, the problem is that there is no air conditioning or vent in the room, so if you want fresh air, you need the window open. Please note that the free toiletries in the bathroom are ONLY body soap, there is no shelf in the shower to put your things (shampoo, and so on), and the shower does not have the space for you to bend over and take them from the floor comfortably.
The location of the hotel is very nice. You are not particularly in the city centre, but 5-7 minutes walking from a metro station. Or a 10-minute walk to Le Marais with great cafes and restaurants. The room was quite small, but the bed was very comfortable, and we had some very good nights of sleep after very trying days walking around. Regarding cleanliness, the bed sheets, and the bathroom were spotless! Lastly, the staff were ok, they are polite and if you ask they will answer and help you out, it is just not proactive.

GermanyThis is not a quiet hotel, suitable for a weekend break where you are pulling all nighters. The lift shaft can be heard whilst in use and its on an arterial road. Rooms are small even though I intentionally booked a room with 2 singles ,with my large suit case it was tight moving around the room.
proximity to my client Good front desk acumen I arrived early fro Joburg and even thought he rooms are listed as being available from 2pm front desk expressed a room for me so I was able to get one at 1030am and get some sleep before my next job. Breakfast on par with hotel rating 12EUR

United KingdomWhile I loved that my room was a bit quirky with sloped walls, it would not be good for anyone over 5'2, as they would not be able to stand upright in half of the room and especially not in the bathroom/shower. The only plug in the room that I could use to charge my phone was faulty and almost un-usable.
The hotel was in a quiet location and the room was clean and of a good size for a single person. My room was a bit quirky and had a small balcony. It was easy to get to and was close to the location where my friends stayed. I would recommend.
