Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaGreat location, super friendly staff and we had such an uniquely ornate room. Breakfast was decent, even with a limited selection. We thought the croissant was pretty good. Also appreciated them storing our luggage until check in and that there were multiple pillows on the bed (we have found that Europe has a tendency to only have one pillow per person so this was a great feature for us).

ChinaThe wash basin drain is slow. The lift is really small. The staff helped us with the luggages, otherwise we need to have multiple trips up and down.
Great location. Clean and neat room. Beautiful Paris street view from outside the windows. Helpful service.

CanadaWe had to leave the key each time we left the hotel and there was only 1 key. This made it a bit tricky to coordinate when 1 person came back earlier than the other. The elevator was very tiny - it could either fit 2 people or 1 person+luggage, but we appreciated it after staying in places that only had stairs. The front desk staff person in the evening seemed annoyed with simple requests, such as asking for an iron and ironing board.
Very comfortable beds and great location. We had two rooms, the one with a king bed was on the 5th floor with only an attic window and had a tiny terrace, however the bathroom was very narrow a bit difficult to maneuver around. The other had 2 twin beds and was on the first floor. It was a great size with lovely windows facing the street for good people watching.

IsraelNothing - everything was great.
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. Location is unbeatable — central, lively, and surrounded by countless restaurants, cafes and bars just steps away. Despite being in the middle of everything, the rooms were perfectly quiet, thanks to excellent soundproofing!! What really made the difference, though, was the staff - everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful, not in a scripted way but in a very natural, thoughtful manner. Furthermore, we had an unexpected issue during our stay, and the manager and Anna helped us solve it in a way that was above and beyond, without making a fuss - it really exceeded our expectations given how rare it is to find service that feels both professional and heartfelt!! Highly recommended — we’d definitely stay here again.

United StatesOur experience was amazing! Though we found the lobby to be quite small. I understand that the hotel is housed in an older building, but the limited space felt a bit cramped. Not a deal breaker though
This hotel boasts a perfect location, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, metro stations, bus stops, historical sights, and grocery stores—everything you could possibly need is within reach! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating; they went out of their way to assist us with our early arrival and were incredibly helpful throughout our visit.

United KingdomThe bathroom in our room was segmented by a curtain not a door - not a problem for us but something to be aware of (can’t comment on other rooms of course). But did love the fact that the WC was separate to the bathroom area. Breakfast - was downstairs in the adjoining cafe. Lovely staff there but you were presented with breakfast - a mini baguette each and a croissant (both freshly baked), with a plate of white ham and Comte to accompany. We loved it, and it definitely filled you up but don’t expect a full cooked breakfast - it’s only continental on offer. There’s a few side options (pastries, jams, boiled egg, yoghurt, trout) and I saw one local ask for scrambled egg which looked nice. Price-wise - it’s at the top end of what I’d like to pay for what you get. Yes the hotel is beautifully presented and everything is so wonderfully French, but €50 cheaper a night would have made it more palatable. Oh, and not a reflection on the hotel but remember that city taxes are payable on departure, circa €8 pp/pn.. But would I stay there again? Absolutely!!
The hotel was beautiful - traditional French building with rooms very tastefully decorated. We had a view onto the square and it was just lovely - gorgeous bathroom (beautiful tiles & gold coloured shower & taps etc), very comfy bed, with couch by the window (which clearly became a 3rd bed if needed/booked). The windows must have been triple glazed because when they were shut we heard nothing in the room from outside. Front of House were wonderfully cooperative and polite. Breakfast was very nice albeit prescribed with not much choice. Location wise, couldn’t be better - Carrefour de l’Odeon is a 30s walk from the Odeon metro stop (direct line from Gare du Nord, to where we got the train from the airport). It’s less than 10m walk to Notre Dame, and to the Saint Michel metro, which is where we caught the RER-C train to Versailles Palace. Musee d’Orsay, Louvre, Tuileries, Jardin du Luxembourg, Pompidou are all between 5-15m walk away. Food-wise, there are any number of cafes & brasseries to whet any appetite!

We stayed in room 10 and it was lovely - full of character and charm and very well soundproofed. The gorgeous bath and Nuxe products were great after walking around the city. Location is perfect. The hotel restaurant is popular and we had a lovely continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and plenty on offer.

United StatesCurtain to separate the bathroom vanity to main room was a little less private than I prefer. Mainly because the light shone through to the main room. The toilet was separated with a closed door. While I read several complaints about the size of the elevator, this was not an issue for us at all. We had to take our luggage up to the room individually, but after that we mostly used stairs. Two persons can fit in the elevator at one time so this was not an issue for me and my friend.
Phenomenal location. Charming and sophisticated without being stuffy. The adjoining restaurant was some of the best food we had in Paris. The amenities in the room were lovely touches: complimentary espresso pods, bottled waters, welcome treats and note. Room was clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Smart tv. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
