We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SloveniaUnfortunately there was no refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was modern and looked nice, however a door on the shower cabin would be perfect. The room could also do with a few more wall hangers on the big empty wall.
The hotel itself was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised that our rooms were ready way ahead of check-in time. Even though there was a mess up on the booking.com website while reserving the room, the receptionist was very helpful at resolving the issue. Breakfast was tasty and offered a large assortment of choices.

United StatesNot much... Hotel website was a little difficult to navigate, however, you could just call the front desk if there were any questions.
Staff was great! I met Joaquin who worked in the dinning room on the day of our arrival. He gave us great recommendations that were very useful throughout our week there. The hotel took our luggage so we could explore the neighborhood before check in. The breakfast was simple but complete. Food was fresh, delicious and the coffee just sealed the deal!! Nothing fancy, but the hotel was clean, the room was comfortable and had these two massive windows you could open to let the fresh air in. It was hard to get out of the shower lol!! There was a supermarket literally across the street, an amazing bakery around the corner, and the Eiffel Tower was only a 20 minute walk. The metro station was a 10 min. walk away, and on Tuesday and Friday, a large farmer's market appeared around the corner!! just an awesome experience!!

The location is a bit out on a limb, but there is plenty of public transport. The 2 lifts are quick and modern. The hotel is very quiet. There is no fridge. United KingdomA mini fridge in the room to keep the complimentary water and any purchased drinks cold would have been a nice addition as well as little more variety at breakfast.
Well-located on quiet road in close proximity to public transport options and approx. 25 min walk to Tour Eiffel. Pleasant large room that was very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful - allowed us to check in early as room was ready and facilitated safe keeping of our luggage after check out until departure.

United KingdomThe room was a bit dark as only had one small window and needed a bit of TLC as had some peeling paint in the bathroom. Towels were lovely but would have liked a robe and slippers. An extra blanket would have been nice as the throw on the bed wasnt very large.
