Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Breakfast was served in a beautiful room with attentive service. Price was a good value at 14 euros. Hotel is perfectly located on a small side street with an outdoor courtyard with chairs and tables. There was no road noise so sleeping was a breeze. The highlight was the staff who were kind and generous.

SpainMy one complaint was the breakfast. France is known for its bread and specifically croissants. The breakfast buffet was; fine however the croissants, baguettes and pan aux chocolate were really bellow par. I had breakfast once at the hotel and decided to have a croissant and coffee outside of the hotel for the rest of my stay. This should be an easy enough thing to fix and is holding me back from a better review. Why start your day in Paris with a bad croissant?
The location was excellent. The hotel was delightfully decorated and super charming.

SwitzerlandA shelf and hooks for the towels would be a useful addition in the bathroom. But apart from this minor detail, they got it absolutely right.
A superb boutique hotel in the hearth of Le Marais with a über decadent first Empire decoration. Where else do you get leopard wallpaper frankly ? Beyond the decorum the tiny rooms are well conceived and there is a wealth of amenities that give a luxury feeling to your stay.

United States of AmericaThe location is excellent, right in the middle of beautiful and cool Le Marais. An excellent value. The staff knew our names and they took great care of us. I was there for a fight and they provided me with a scale so I could properly handle my weight cut process. Excellent restaurants and boutiques all around. Safe, cool and comfortable. We met a dude with a flamboyant hat in the lobby who had been staying there for the last 20 years. He knew what was up. Excellent little lounge.

United States of AmericaMeal offerings could be more substantial.
I've stayed at JoBo before and I would again. The location is unbeatable: quiet, accessible, and a gorgeous starting point for exploring the Marais. As a tea drinker, I also love that the room has a coffeemaker and separate, dedicated tea-maker with pods - so few hotels have that!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. It's in the middle of everything but off on a little side street, so it's quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. There were also many small welcome details like fresh still and sparkling water in the room and a gift box of macaroons.

United States of AmericaRooms are small, but I know that's common in Paris locations. Nevertheless, it was like a "cool" hug (air conditioning was very welcome) and fairly quiet for a busy city street. Lots of amenities packed in a small room. Coffee, water, hooks for clothing/robes, plugs without an adaptor, etc. Shower also was good with excellent pressure and temp. The concierge (Cyril) was exceptional. Gave me tips for things to do and see in the area and just made me feel right at home like I was staying at a friend's house. Leaving was easy and taxi was on time! Little pricey for size of room, but again, I know that's part of staying in a good location in Paris.
The breakfast was great. Good choices, all very fresh and the staff was so accommodating. I liked the choice of eating inside or on the patio.

United States of AmericaIt was a little noisy in the mornings with delivery vans it seemed. A little bit of noise from nearby restaurant in the evening. Maybe it was just the week we chose. Rooms were small but even a little smaller than expected.
