Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe carpet looked like decades old and a bit dirty although the room was very clean. But the walls are rather thin so we could hear a lot from the people in neighboring rooms and also from the busy street with cafés. So bring earplugs…!
Staff were very friendly, room was very clean and the location is great. Breakfast next door is fantastic!

IrelandThis is a very clean and well presented hotel with quirky decor. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and everything had been thought of in terms of facilities and ours even had a fridge and snacks to buy. Breakfast in the cafe below is a little pricey for the area at €15 as it can be bought at much better value in neighbouring cafés. It’s located between the port and the back of the old town and directly on the tram route from the airport. lots of lovely restaurants around too.

AustriaThe hotel is ideally situated at Place Garibaldi, a stone throw from the tram station that provides a fast and cheap connection to the airport, right between the old town and the port (and at the very beginning of rue Bonaparte with its lively restaurant and bar scene ...). Rooms are not big but absolutely adequate for a 3star hotel with a decent bed, a big shower and good wifi.

AustriaNo possibility to park, but please go to the parking of "Musee d'Art Moderne" quite close to the hotel. There it says "parking full" but you always find a place in the first floor of this parking area. The parking is not free, but that is normal for NHTSA. If there is no free place, go to Parking Marshall. First unload the luggage at the hotel;)
Breakfast is great. Hotel is great Design and Friendly. For Parking: e go to the parking of "Musee d'Art Moderne" quite close to the hotel. CanadaIf you like it to be quiet in the evenings and if you like to go to sleep before midnight, then this hotel is probably not for you. The hotel is right above a bar. However, the windows cut out most noise and the bar closes at midnight. If you want to stay up and enjoy the vibrant night life of Nice then you will find the hotel good value for your money.
If you want a hotel that is steps away from shops and restaurants in Old Nice, this is the place for you. This hotel is walking distance to the main beach and a very good laundromat is 4 mins away.

SwedenNo parking or a place to even stop your car to drop off your luggage. But we found a parking spot not too far away, and you cannot expect anything else in a french city with busy, narrow streets.
The hotel is located just by the edge of the old town and the busy bar area. This is a small but comfortable hotel with a very nice café that serves a generous breakfast (not included). The rooms have AC and are pretty small but comfortable and clean. This is a busy area in the afternoon and evening but does not bother you in the late hours. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Close to the tram and the Promenade des Anglais that can take you to the shopping area of central Nice.

SwitzerlandThe room felt a bit dated - it’s an older building and that shows. Would benefit from new carpet, a better shower set up to avoid leaking, etc. We also found the AC to be very loud and it periodically made a buzzing noise, which was a bit distracting while we were trying to fall asleep.
Hotel Le G is in a nice location - easy walking distance to the old town and the beach (about 15 minutes) and close to bus stops and a train station for exploring other areas. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly - when we checked in we were given a map of the area and a full explanation about different options to explore. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Room was clean and housekeeping was very thorough each day. The AC worked very well!
