Lovely hotel, very comfy and warm. Lynne went out her way to look after me including organising a lift back to the WHW in the morning when they ferry wasn't running. Highly recommend stopping here.

Well located. You can reach by ferry, when walking the west highland way, and hardly loose any time on the trail. It's beautiful on the outside, with charming old rooms on the inside. The staff was very nice and authentic. To my surprise, they even offered scottish breakfast suitable for vegans. I would really recommend it!

The hotel room was right next to a busy road with no loch view and was quite noisy. The room was also very small. We were disappointed in the room but loved the view of the loch and the dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

We thought that the views from the hotel of Loch Lomond were beautiful. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel very much. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and nice.

When arriving in room, the radiator had been left on full and the room was roasting hot. The radiator had to be drained as after several hours the heat hadn't dissipated after we turned it off - this was fixed by the understanding staff however.

Location at the top of loch Lomond is incredible. Hotel had beautiful interior and staff were incredibly friendly. Dinner and breakfast were also very good.

Memorable location on Loch Lomond. Ferry journey across was very special. Our room on the second floor had lovely views. Spacious accommodation and a good restaurant and bar below.

I feel the room could have been checked a bit more thoroughly. I reported a small damage to the door in the bathroom which looked as if a previous occupant had caused. Later I put the TV on and only 2 channels worked. I admit I didn't report this due to the time of night and being ready for bed. It was raining heavily in the morning and the joint of the window with the building was leaking and I found myself mopping the water up with a towel. I did report this and they said that they would get it fixed straight away. This is an old building and I understand it would be unrealistic not to get the odd issue from time to time I think I was just unfortunate.

The hotel is situated on the bank of the Loch and there are activities on the Loch. The staff were very polite and pleasant and willing to help. There is free parking and a restaurant on site. I had a decent sleep on the second floor. I had a single ensuite room which was small but adequate for my needs. Toiletries and coffee making items were plentiful. The shower was a full body and rain style with good pressure. Breakfast was varied I had full Scottish which was very nice and plentiful. On the side of the hotel is a rustic and characterful bar. I endulged in a couple of pints of Innes and Gunn in the beer garden which overlooks the lake. I really enjoyed this 1 night stay and if in the area again I would stay again.

Beautiful views, lovely staff that were so helpful, it was extremely hot and the lady got us an extra fan, which was lovely! The lady at breakfast was really lovely and both made us feel really welcome.
