Very nice hotel, large clean room with good bathroom. Excellent parking. Excellent location for exploring the Bowland Forest. Also the restuarant is excellent and very reasonable.

Hotel is located in Bowland, wonderful countryside, with beautiful gardens. Very relaxed atmosphere with comfortable sofas, blazing log fires and well stocked bar. Restaurant overlooking gardens & lovely terrace area.Excellent quality of food and service, staff exceptional always friendly and courteous.Spacious bedroom & en-suite, very comfortable we had whirlpool bath which was a bonus.

It would be nice to have a breakfast menu with a few more choices on rather than just being offered full English. Personally I prefer a duvet on my bed rather than sheet and blanket but I have to say it was warm and comfortable. I think some of the plumbing is a bit antiquated.

Beautiful situation, great staff always friendly and willing to help, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, great breakfast. My comments on the negative aren't complaints just ideas, I love the place and how traditional it is, it's clear everyone really cares.

No issues with the property at all

The rooms were gorgeous! We booked the suit and was a lovely big room with a lounge area upstairs. Such a beautiful room and view. The gardens were lovely, such a nice area.

The room was too warm- we had to try to work out how to turn the heating down. Also the shower in our room wasn't working very well, which didn't really matter as we used the whirlpool bath instead.

All staff really friendly, room lovely and very comfortable. Genius upgraded room much appreciated. Seating area and whirlpool bath great. Breakfast delicious and top quality. Beautiful garden area. Scrupulously clean. Big fluffy towels and really comfy bed.

Warm welcome, decent size room with on suit bathroom. Large towels. Nice bar and restaurant with good menu reasonably priced . not the time of year to visit the garden or sit outside. large car park. Friendly staff

The bathroom was pretty clean, but there were some coloured stains from the shower gel on the corner of the edge of the bathtub.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was super spacious, it was a duplex and though internet was not functioning well in the bedroom area (lower floor of the room), it did work perfectly well in the upper level of our room (which was more like living area). Very quiet, we slept well. The restaurant has good food and its pub is really nice too!
