The only thing we thought could have been improved was the breakfast, as the juice and eggs didn’t taste very fresh and there didn’t seem to be a very large range of hot food. The waffles were great though.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in in the UK. The room was extremely spacious and contained extra comforts such as a small sofa, well-placed TV and sockets and plenty of mirrors for getting ready. The bathroom was modern and everything was very clean and well-kept. The room and bed were very comfortable, especially the pillows. We also appreciated the fact that soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were available. All the staff were fantastic also and were very willing to help as much as they could.

Staff were so friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Room cleaned every day without having to ask. Breakfast was delicious.

Really clean and spacious room which has been maintained in good condition. The staff at check in were friendly and helpful. The bar and reception areas were really nice. Breakfast was very well organised, super delicious and there was a good variety of foods.

It seemed a little bit expensive overall. Completely a preference thing, but I didn't find the bed comfy, bit too hard and for the price, a larger bed would be good. While most of the breakfast choices were nice (+ a good selection available), the scrambled egg was horrible - a really odd taste!! (I see others have said this too, wish I'd have read that before trying it as it made both my husband and I feel queasy). Great to have parking available, but it was very tight.

Really lovely and helpful staff throughout, especially at reception. The rooms are quite large & very clean. The bathroom was nice & had a great shower. One of our rooms (booked 2) had an issue with the bathroom door and it was fixed quickly once we let reception know. We were attending an event at Kelham Island and it was a great location for that.

The car parking. We paid £15 for a space but on our return from an evening event there were no spaces. We had to park on the road and due to limited change had to rush out in the morning to move the car. We have applied for a refund d but Do not yet know the outcome. The car park needs a ticket machine.

Breakfast was super crowded and hard to get around, when i checked in the staff was super distracted with their own conversation and barely noticed me had to wave a few times to catch their attention whilst they was at the counter talking (right next to the bar till thing)
