Nowhere to store clothes other than a short hanging rail and only 5 hangers. On arrival only one cup in a 2 bed room. No lock on toilet door and it took 3 days for tissues to be replenished

The bathroom! We’ve stayed here twice before,once in each building and the bathrooms have been fine This one had nowhere to put a towel although there were marks on the wall where there had previously been rails.There was a Perspex shelf over the small washbasin which sloped downwards and consequently, everything slipped off.It was also difficult to wash and clean teeth between the shelf and washbasin Some larger people would have problems entering and exiting the shower cubicle

Our room was extremely close to flyover. Which was noisy. But we did expect some noise because we wanted to be in middle of city and just walk and use public transport.

We would have preferred proper storage for our belongings rather than a little shelf and a small rail with a few hangers on it. No proper soundproofing - we got a bit irritated with next room's loud TV and louder voices!

Very nice hotel in a quiet location, just a short walk from the city centre. The staff were all helpful, friendly and very professional. Very nice room, clean and comfortable with an immaculate bathroom. Good lighting and plenty of power points in our room. We arrived quite early, but the staff were lovely - they stowed our luggage until we booked in later and they did the same for us the day we caught our train back. Smashing breakfast in a very pleasant dining room, with plenty of choice. I'm sure we shall stay there again.

We ate in the restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. We have been here before and then the food was nothing special, this time it was very good. Breakfast is , I would say adequate there just isn't enough choice available and the serving area is far too small for the size of the hotel. One gripe is the £12 charge for the parking, do hotels really have to squeeze the last pound out of your pocket ?

A great location within easy walking distance of Chester centre. The setting is also excellent next to the canal with good shops and restaurants nearby. The leisure centre is quite good especially having a swimming pool , a great way to start the day. We had a room overlooking the canal which was good but if you had one facing the road i think it may be a bit noisey as there is a flyover next to the hotel.
