Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom was for disabled with a shower that was walk in, it didn't have the drain to cope with the water which poured out over the floor. Room was facing another building which made it very dark with no view.
Loved Hardys Bar. The food was really good and the staff were brilliant. The hotel is in a perfect location.

Food service in the bar was incredibly slow but, as a result, we were given it without charge without asking A plumbing problem at 11pm caused an extremely foul smell in our room so we had to move rooms.This was handled swiftly and effectively. The new room was grubby on inspection the next day Despite these factors we choose to stay an additional night and we were upgraded to a sea view with complementary breakfast. This was a fantastic room. I think we were just a little unlucky but the staff were outstanding and responded quickly to any issues We will definitely return

My room and balcony was not on nice view
Close to dart line and many restaurants/cafes near by the hotel and it is a walking distance to the sea

Did not appreciate unsolicited phone call from a member of the Hotel staff who seemed to be so familiar with me that she could call me by my first name. The late check-in is far from ideal

I couldn't join the wifi for some reason and unfortunately the windows did not open fully.
Amazing stay, the rooms are outstanding with a direct sea view. I absolutely loved the fitness center, the pool was perfectly sized, the sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy pool are a real plus. Just only one night there made wonders to my body! Not to mention the comfort of the room.

At first glance, the hotel appears to be quite an imposing building, but there are some tired looking areas that could do with some sprucing up. The obvious lack of similar hotels in the area could be a reason for complacency. But, it could definitely do with some investment. That said, our stay was very pleasant.

Breakfast was a bit expensive.
Because we were early Booking in, and our room wasn't ready reception juggled things around and got us in. The young man on reception also took our luggage on a trolley from the carpark to the room, he then made a point of showing us where everything was in the room.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.
The location was perfect as we have family living within walking distance. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the hotel bar. We hadn’t booked but the staff accommodated us .

Needs some TLC. Front step handrail in need of repair. Paintwork at front poor. Our 5th floor exec room was overlooking a carpark. We asked to be relocated but not possible

There were no vending machines in the hotel and I would have liked a chocolate bar! The weird hairdryer/shaver thing in the bathroom -ugly and so dated. It brought down the image of the rooms. TV is very small!
Location is excellent as the hotel is easily accessible from public transport and in the centre of the town. The downstairs seating area was cosy and inviting. Water in the fridge on arrival.

The water shower pressure was reduced when turned to the hot water.
I had breakfast only for 1 day and it was good. Hotel is well located and very close to the train station, about 5 min walking.
