Hairdryer- something out of 70's - I'm glad I had my own with me on the day. It really needs to be updated!

Great view outside my window. Bed soft and comfortable.

We brought a relative in for tea and cake and they’d run out of cake. The empty tables were a mess despite there being no shortage of staff so it didn’t create a good impression. Great service apart from this. Our room was lovely but had a terrible smell coming from the drains. I informed reception so I’m sure this will be dealt with.

Love the position and style of this gorgeous old hotel. Have stayed before and I’m sure we’ll be back.

It was lovely weather but the hotel had removed the tables they had at front to sit outside. 🙃 They should bring these back, we loved sitting there last time we were visiting hotel.

Beautiful location, easy walking distance to train station, large room. We were going to a show in Bord Gais, Dublin, the hotel is less expensive than in Dublin, but only 20mins away on train.

The bathroom smelt like a cross between a sewer and a dirty harbour. It was spotlessly clean but there must of been a drain problem. I didn't raise it with anyone, we just kept the door closed. It was only 1 night, not world ending

Staff were lovely, really interactive with the kids, singing songs with them and bringing them crayons and no fuss regarding any mess at dinner time. Food came quickly. Beds were lovely

Long overdue maintenance needed on the outside of the building.

Historic Hotel, close to waterfront and town. Garage car parking with easy access to hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not included in the price.

The place needs to get a bit modernised, meaning upgrading decoration, updating services, not the architecture or any structural changes

Yellow chicken curryx28 Most of the veg was under cooked and the chicken tasted of over cooked roasted chicken, The chicken didn’t taste of having been in the sauce. If I return for another visit it certainly wouldn’t be for the culinary experience

The underground carpark is very tight when driving around and turning into different levels to find a car space. Car spaces also need to be wider.

Room had a great view out to the seaside area, the room was a good size and bed comfortable. Great location and easy walk to good restaurants and cafes.
