Excellent breakfast and diner buffet, some tables outside only. Bicycles are not in a good shape. Beach is large and clean with powder sand. Large garden to do nice walks between room and beach bar/restaurant. Very helpful service. Pool large and well maintained.

Our only slight frustration with the stay was on the administration/logistics of our check in and check out. It took over an hour from us arriving at the hotel to being in our room with our luggage and it didn’t feel particularly busy when we arrived. Again on check out the process was not as slick as it could have been and it took longer than needed to deal with some questions we had.

The hotel is in a lovely setting with super easy access to the beach, which itself is beautiful and was pretty quiet for most of the day during our stay. One of the best parts of the stay was the beach shack. The staff here, particularly Jay, Niraj and chef Tamil were brilliant. Their service was excellent and the food was delicious - we ended up eating there all 3 nights of our stay!

Some service in the Sunset Bar was slow. Travel Desk didn't really offer any tourist help, just deferred to taxi drivers. Beach location good but had to get a taxi into the village, so not walkable unfortunately. Didn't try the main restaurant or bar.

Room was large and comfortable with a nice small balcony. Good breakfast with lots of choice, and good staff. Beach Hut and Sunset Bar right on the beach were good food and drink options, plus half a dozen beach shacks. Good pool with different areas for adults and children, plus pool bar and Castaways casual restaurant. Lots of sun loungers, mix of shade and sun. No hassle really on beach. Front desk constantly checking everything was ok.

not enough umbrellas by the pool and beach

this was a lovely hotel, the staff were so kind and attentive they really made my holiday. the pool is magnificent and very clean. Our room was clean and roomy TV good and always hot water. I d recommend this hotel and Will be going back if possible.

Caravela is a big, big resort. Most guests are Indian families with small children, so things become quite chaotic at breakfast time. And at certain times the pool becomes a fun zone - but not in a good way. The food was disappointing.

Beautiful grounds and clean rooms. Staff goes out of their way to help you. We had a lovely housekeeper and the staff at all the bars and restaurants are great. Nice beach bar with sunbeds. It was nice to be there around sundown, when everybody goes strolling on the beach.

Wonderful beach, golfing facility, good food. Very attentive staff. The manager made us feel very comfortable and was very accommodating to our request to change the room from a noisy location to a quite location.

The beach could be cleaned with the resorts responsibility towards it. Get rid of your plastic water bottled in room.

Exceptional team who manages their breakfast/dining buffet. Great attitude at all times, they take care of you like their own house guest..every single one of them. The attention to details towards all guests irrespective of the guests behaviour was truly commendable. They took special care of kids , even the staff at activity center had great attitude. I was assisted with meal options custom8zed at all times. The location is a wow, beach is great with para siling option. I would definitely go back to them , whenever I'm in south goa

It is a little out of the way for attractions. The sofa in the room was very uncomfortable.

This is my 3rd stay at carvela awesome location, hospitality they take of the todler as if they their own. Also there was holi party which we attended which had good DJ music and food as well near the beach of the hotel makes this place to visit again

Too many noisy wedding parties. It was interesting to start with but after 4 days the drums were getting us down!

Right on the beach and the staff were fabulous.. very comfortable and welcoming. Gorgeous pool.

The bed was not a single king bed, it was a mix of 2 small beds, you could feel the joining part in the middle of the bed.

The pool was nice, and the breakfast was good. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

Liked everything!

Spacious, clean, pleasant interior and decoration with a good taste. Everything: bedsheets, towels, bathrobes are of the good quality material and always clean. Internet connection is good. Hot water is perfectly hot. Mirror even after long shower always keeping the big patch in the middle which doesn't get condensate. NO insects! AC works good. Nice balcony with table and chairs. The food is a special gem in this hotel. It pleases any taste, Indian and European. Always good quality, fresh and great taste. We tried several recommended restaurants around, but decided to eat only in the hotel, because the taste is much better, service is very fast and personnel is so friendiv. You will not be bothered by any mosquito, wasp or fly in any time of the day in any location inside and outside throughout the whole territory! That's something really important to enjoy your vacation.
