It was a very nice experience sleep in cottage in front the sea where if you are lucky you can see whales just few metres n front of you. Amazing ! The cottage is a mini flat , super clean with nice furniture.

An absolutely beautiful, private cottage with spectacular views of the sea. The kitchenette was great for making lunch to take on the road. A 2 minute drive to the centre of town. The host lives on the property so is available if you run into any problems or have any questions. Thanks so much for restaurant recommendation.

Overpriced. Would have been nice to have a basket of fruit, yogurt and granola given there isn’t much of anything available in the village.

There is too much light in the room to promote a good night sleep. It urgently needs a system of blackouts to block the permanent light when one wants to go to sleep. The beds were too soft.

The cottage is spacious and functional. The decoration is superb and it has everything you may need to cook a simple meal. The location in front of the fjord unbeatable. We enjoyed a glass of wine watching whales in front of our cottage. The town offers a nice pool and hot tub for a very reasonable price. The owners were excellent at responding our queries before our arrival. A quiet and beautiful spot.

We LOVED the cottage. It was quaint with everything we needed. We were also able to see the northern lights from the back patio! Loved the remoteness of the property and we just felt at home.

Our best accommodation in Iceland. It’s cozy, comfortable, clean, the view is stunning, the kitchenette equipped with all the necessities. There is a capsule coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster. The bed is very comfortable, the surrounding area beautiful and the walks to the beach stunning. We holed up in the cottage during a very rainy and snowy afternoon and could not have felt more cozy. We would definitely recommend staying here and want to again thank our hosts for creating and sharing such a lovely place!

Amazing location with no light pollution. Gorgeous views of the fjord and the seals swimming below. Great facilities. Helpful to have a fridge and breakfast things provided.

Comfortable and spacious cabin with modern facilities in a remote location overlooking a fjord allowing you to see wildlife (whales, seals) whilst sitting in the back patio; close to grocery store and good restaurant as well.

Everything was great.

The cottage is located in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, you can see fjords right outside the window, horses grazing in front of the bay. A very special place, highly recommended if you are looking for a beautiful and secluded getaway. The cottage itself was very comfortable, warm, not suited for cooking though, but there is a village nearby with a restaurant and shop. We ended up there due to unexpected circumstances and the owner of the place was extremely helpful, could not imagine a better place to end up in. Appreciate it very much, thank you!
