Towels and shower could be a lot better and is not what you expect from a five star hotel at this price range. Also there is no turndown service.

Staff at reception not helpful and kind of pressing and rude. They tried to upgrade our stay in a pressing way. Rooftop bar was not as the rest of the hotel, seemed a little bit neglected.

The decor, style and layout were amazing! We ate at the restaurant which was amazing and the spa was one of the best we’ve been too. Great bedrooms, quiet. Great location.

A £500 sterling hold on my credit card for potential damages etc. there were none by the way.

Great location and base for tours etc. very nice restaurant albeit rather expensive compared to restaurants in the town centre.

The roof top bar was very disappointing. The views are definitely worth it, but the faculty was dirty, gross carpet, food all over it. The furniture definitely needs to be replaced. The chair I sat in was so worn that there were places where the padding was showing. Although the music was nice it was just TOO LOUD! My husband and I couldn’t even talk to each other without raising our voices, so we left. Very disappointing.

Breakfast was delicious! The Lobby bar was our favorite. Staff there were very friendly and taught us about Icelandic gin and vodka! That was fun! Valet parking was a breeze and the front desk 100% there for all our needs! The Easter egg delivered to our room was a class act and very yummy too! Thank you for that!

The floor of rest area is not clean.

The Sea View is awesome. Suit room has big rest area. Two tables are good for dining or work. Really like the bathroom, well decorated and clean. But the floor of rest area is not as clean as bathroom.

Service was friendly and polite from all staff we encountered (reception, valet, housekeeping, restaurant), but not at all proactive in the restaurant: we had to ask for service each time, no one checked on us e.g. to ask if the food was OK or if we wanted more drinks, and it took a long time to catch anyone's attention even though there were at least 3 or 4 staff members walking around. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant so it seemed that staff were using the quiet time to focus on admin tasks (e.g. stock taking) rather than service. We also found the food to be of fairly average quality and opted not to dine in the hotel again. Although it was a nice hotel in a great location, I didn't feel that we received value for money and I would opt to stay elsewhere on my next visit.

The hotel is in a great location near the harbour and close to shops and restaurants. The decor was aesthetically pleasing, the rooms were a good size and the bed was comfortable (although I found the chair in the room extremely uncomfortable to sit in). The shower was great and I particularly appreciated the underfloor heating in the bathroom! On checking out I noticed a discrepancy on the bill (a minibar item we hadn't consumed) and it was removed from the total without hesitation.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. It was in a great location, walking distance from the city centre and close to lots of great restaurants. Spa was wonderful - would recommend having a treatment. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Breakfast at the hotel was very expensive. We were also told at reception that our children could use the spa facilities but when we arrived at the spa we were told differently which was a little disappointing. Minor point! The hotel was brilliant overall.

Location and staff at the property were brilliant. Excellent service throughout.
