The walls were a bit thin; we could even hear our neighbors clapping (if you know what I mean). The facilities seemed well maintained. All doors were mechanical, not modern electronic locks. There was no elevator, but I take responsibility for missing that detail while narrowing down my options. If you're packing heavy, this place might be tricky. The booking does mention the bathroom includes a bidet but my room was missing it, which I appreciated-having traveled through Rome and Venezia before this trip, I really missed it, even though it wasn't a must on my list.

I liked the coffee and tea table that was refilled every day. The location was close to the main station. Gaia provided excellent, professional attention-she spoke Spanish with us and made us feel welcome with her helpful recommendations.

Great area of Venice, loved the ease of access to everything without being in the main tourism area. Staff were lovely and helpful with directions and information. Held our bags for us before and after our booking as well.

Amazing location! You’re right on the main path, yet set apart by a little entryway. You do not hear the street noise at all. The service felt very comfortable as well. It’s 10 minutes walk from the ferry stop Madonna dell ‘ Orto, which was the first stop on the ferry from the airport. Which led to a quick transit from the airport to the hotel.

Very limited room around the bed. Mosquitoes need to be kept out with fly wire. Bathroom windows open to opposite apartments if shutters not closed.

traveling to airport by water buss. The one we scheduled was full and we needed to wait for the second one. We got concerned that one would be full as well, then we decided to go and catch the buss.

Bed was a little stiff for me but after long days of walking I had no trouble sleeping.

Room size is perfect for a solo traveler. Room was clean. had proper amenaties and even AC. The windows open up and allows for beautiful natural light and air. I traveled in late April so air was cool in the mornings and very little mosquitos. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Location is about 10-20min walk from the very touristy locations, but good if you like to be a little out of the way but still have access to lively atmosphere. 4 min walk from the nearest river bus dock, which takes you to most popular locations. Highly recommend taking this if you're tired of walking everywhere after day 1 like me.

- Room was a bit chilly and there was nothing we could do about it. There was an AC unit but they said it's not for heating. They said heating is turned on using the radiators at specific times of the day, but they didn't really do anything. - Bathroom didn't have anything we could put items, like toiletries on. At least a shelf would be useful

Perfect location, close to Santa Lucia station and in a quiet area just off the main street and not too far from Piazzo San Marco. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Their restaurant suggestions were great! The only thing I would pick out was that the shower water pressure wasn’t as strong as I would have liked but other than that, it was very comfortable and clean. I would 100% stay again and recommend.
