Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThis hotel is in an unbeatable location—step right outside the front door and you're at the Trevi Fountain. There's also a bar offering fantastic views of the fountain. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure we had a wonderful stay.

United KingdomBeing an old building, the trade-off to all the positive things was the plumbing. Toilets took a while to get used to how to flush. The shower and basin are very slow to drain. But a small thing to put up with.
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The view. The location for exploring Rome was perfect. Good housekeeping, nice breakfast every day.

AustraliaNoisy ceiling fan. Not able to get the TV to translate to English, not a smart TV. No kettle/ tea (chamomile) & coffee making in the room, a necessity for those who can't sleep or wake up easily.
Our room was comfortable & clean, the view of the Trevi Fountain was amazing. The hotel is a converted 500 year old monestary, according to a Google search, so the rooms are dated but suit the feel & atmosphere. The rooftop breakfast space was lovely & the ladies providing food and serving coffee were delightful. The only negatives were the extremely loud rattling ceiling fan & the fact that we could not select English on the TV in our room. There is only one staff member on reception in the evening, so they weren't able to leave the front desk unattended to help us try to fix it. I guess we could have asked someone to come take a look in the morning, but we were up & out & forgot about it. All in all, it was terrific 😀

AustraliaBecause it was right in front of the fountain is was quite noisy and made it hard to sleep.
It was located in an amazing location and the view of the fountain at breakfast time was amazing. They also had the restaurant opened in the afternoon for drinks but we unfortunately didn’t realise this until we were leaving.

United StatesSome guests in our party did not air conditioning or it took a long time for rooms to cool.
Great location across from Trevi and close to restaurants. Top floor breakfast was nice.

United StatesI'm from the States, so I always prefer a shower over a shower in a bath tub.
The location was excellent. The hotel has tons of charm but still offers a lot of amenities.

IrelandThe hotel is located in an old building and the facilities were a little tired and old as expected in an old building. Not much can be done by the owners due to the busy location and the old building. The downstairs hallway and lift are narrow. Crowds outside the door 24 hours a day due to proximity to fountain.
View of fountain was great from our room. All of the staff were really nice and helpful and kind. The hotel matched my expectations. Great central location so you can walk to restaurants nearby. Location was amazing. 24 hour manned reception. Easy going and relaxed.

United KingdomCould have done with a kettle in the room. The men on reception were just downright rude. Paid almost £700 for a 2 night stay and they didn't even have the manners to say thank you or goodbye when we were leaving. They were the reasons for the markdowns on a lovely stay.
Stunning view over fountain. Young lady on reception was fantastic. Lovely breakfast.

United KingdomRoom was a bit tired, had everything you'd need and was clean but could do with some maintainance. I think it gets away with it for the location, otherwise couldn't fault the stay.
