Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe rooms are very small, even for Europe standards.
Great story about the Mona Lisa being hidden in one of the rooms when it was stolen. They have a happy hour with free snacks and non-alcohol drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet.

United KingdomGreat location near station and Duomo, we booked the room with rooftop hot tub which was wonderful! Also ideal for a family as the room had two double beds plus a sofa bed, and two bathrooms.

Location was excellent, just a few minutes walk to the main cathedral and shops. Everything you need for a short city break right on your doorstep. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there were so many great options just minutes from the hotel. You can sit back and relax and watch the busy world go by many of the different cFES

AustriaThe hotel has an amazing location, the tram to the airport is a couple of minutes walk and also all main attractions. Everything is modern in the hotel and offers the greatest comfort. Especially the staff is amazing, Margarita did everything she could to make our experience also at breakfast time unique, warm thanks to her! There is even a free snack and drinks in the lobby in the late afternoon.

United States of AmericaThe room was pretty small, which is on par for many places in Europe. The bathroom was also pretty small. However, I was able to get a king bed, which was very comfortable, and the room was well-appointed even though it was compact.
I was warmly welcomed by Daniel, who was very helpful throughout our stay. He answered questions, looked up information about places we wanted to visit, and helped us make a dinner reservation for Saturday night. Everyone I came into contact with was kind and helpful. The location was excellent - very close (5 minutes walking) to the Duomo, and about 10 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. It was also centrally located to other sights. They also have a free bottle of water that can be refilled, as well as a snack happy hour, which was a pretty neat concept. This is definitely a place I would stay during a future visit.

NetherlandsI found the wifi a bit slow, but still very doable. The breakfast buffet was nice, I could see there are many options, but unfortunately quite some items were not refilled, with (almost) empty plates/bowls thereby limiting my options, whilst it was only 8 AM at that time! I was not a fan of the coffee that was served at breakfast, while I usually love the coffee/espresso served in Italy.
Good location hotel; most must see destinations within walking distance. Very friendly staff, who greet you friendly, recognize you and are very willing to help out if needed. Good size, clean rooms. Good (strong) shower. Good choice hotel if you prefer a more modern hotel, compared to other hotels in Florence. The room was quiet and windows could be opened at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

TurkeyI like staying inThe Frame hotel. The room was clean, with all necessities. Our room was small for 3 people but it was ok. We have street side windows, but we didn’t hear any street noise. The breakfast was good. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is super cool as it close to the station and to the main attraction Santa Maria del Fiore. Our family love this hotel.

United States of AmericaThe Frame Hotel is a cool hotel convienently located in Florence. This hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to the train station and within walking distance to the big attractions in Florence, we never needed to take a taxi. The hotel decor is so fun and embraces its history with the Mona Lisa. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We booked a family suite and found it to be a little small, however the use of space was very practical and made the small space funtional for a family of 4 with a lot of luggage. Though small, the rooms were very clean, which we value more than having extra space. I would recommend the hotel breakfast, it is convienent and had a nice selection of assorted items. We would stay at the Frame Hotel again and would recommend it to our friends.

The hotel is very stylishly decorated, and the rooms are very modern, beautiful, and comfortable. The location is in the best possible spot. But most importantly, the staff was amazing. They were caring, polite and helpful. Especially Daniel was polite, friendly, and very helpful. He made our dinner reservation at a great restaurant and allowed us to eat a wonderful Florentine steak.

Kuwaitthe room we choose was very small, but that was expected because the photos in booking showed exactly the size of the room. this room is perfect for a solo traveler or two if their luggage/bags where small, one large suitcase would be fine, but i would not recommend 2 larger suitcases in this room. we will stay in a bigger room if we luckily stay in Florence in our future holidays.
The location was perfect and was in walking distance to everything. the room was very very clean and very modern. the staff member (Daniel) was very professional, helpful, always has a smile on his face! the hotel main gate is locked all day long and it opens using your room key, although the front desk never disappointed us when we had shopping bags in our hands, they’d open the door from their side remotely.

United States of AmericaWe stayed for two nights when visiting Firenze on holiday. The staff was incredibly helpful in all respects at all hours of the day and night (including helping late at night when we accidentally screwed up the code on the safe). The location was excellent -- a short was from the train station and convenient walking distance all around the historical areas of Firenze. We would certainly recommend this for any visitors.
