Stayed July 31 to August 2, 2023 with family of 4. Greeted by amazing, professional, welcoming and super helpful Staff at Hotel Grifo. Gave good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The Hotel us positioned in very trendy and eclectic neighborhood and walking distance to most tourist attractions and Rome Termini Train Station. Jaleel provide us a very interesting history of the Hotel and of the neighborhood. Rooms and bathrooms are small but typical for Rome accommodations. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Rooms very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and offered sweet and savory items along with fresh fruit, assorted juices, various coffees, cereal and yogurts. A special thanks go to Jaleel, Marianna, Alen, Ahmed and all the staff at Hotel Grifo. Any issues were resolved immediately!! The bathroom toilet is normal but it should be deeper since the joints of some tiles looked dirty.

The location is great. You have different places nearby to walk and visit them.

There's not a single thing that I didn't like

We have never been to a hotel with such friendly and helpful staff who were truly available at all times for anything we needed. Perfectly clean rooms, fantastic location with all tourist attractions within walking distance - Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon... Once again I would like to thank every employee at the reception desk for their immense kindness, you contributed the most to our impression of this hotel. I am looking forward to our return to Hotel Grifo :)

the heat pump made an annoying noise so we had to turn it off at night, the air got heavy and the room got very hot. but this is only a trifle.

Me and my husband spent 3 lovely nights in Rome at the hotel grifo, the staff there were very welcoming and nice. we had asked for some prosecco and fruit in the room since we are on our honeymoon and they had arranged that for us so nicely when we arrived! they showed us places we should visit and where you could have a good dinner. the room was small but very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. we were served a lovely breakfast and good coffee.

The location was brilliant, very close to Rome's main attractions. Lots of good restaurants in the vicinity which the staff were happy to point out. The staff were friendly with no request too much trouble. Breakfast was more than adequate to get you off to a good day of sightseeing.

The air conditioner could have been colder, but it was very hot in Rome and we were on the top floor. Minor inconvenience.

The shower in our room was a little small.The room had air conditioning but we felt it wasn't very strong, in the summer heat.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location, 5 mins walking from the Colosseum. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, with a fridge and a safe and breakfast facilities were good. We had to book times for breakfast which meant it was never too busy in the breakfast room.

Perfect location of the hotel made us walk anywhere we wanted by foot, we didn’t have to use any transportation I loved it. Super kind and helpful staff made us feel really comfortable and taken care of! They helped us find anything we were looking for and their advices were super helpful, really appreciate that! If u walk one minute behind the hotel you will see Colosseum- amazing (it will take you 7mins to get there), and 12 mins walking to fontana di Trevi

WiFi wasn’t great

Ivan at the front desk was able to check us in in about 30 seconds at our request due to a hurry for another appointment. We came back down later and he greeted us with great energy and had drawn a whole “tourist map” for us which I found really impressive. The location was great, people/service great as well. there were a couple of minor issues with the room itself (bathroom fan issues, WiFi cut out for a little) but it was a far better value than the other place we stayed in Rome in the past. Would definitely stay there again!
