Beautiful, central apartment with a wonderful balcony. Very clean, spacious. All utilities we needed. The gentleman that checked us in gave us valuable information about the island. I'd only add more pots to cook with. There is no elevator, so it was three flights of steps. No problem for us but necessary to know if you're older or have mobility problems. Absolutely recommended.

The bedroom is on a little loft upstairs, the air conditioning temperature was not ideal. Slightly warm but absolutely bearable.

It was quite noisy early in the morning, around 5am as bin lorries collected street rubbish. Not the fault of the property though!

Syracuse is a beautiful city, and this accommodation added even more charm to our stay. It’s located right in the heart of the city, on a quiet little square next to a church—simply magical. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming. Instead of the room we booked, we were given an entire apartment. Thank you! 😊 The place is lovely, with charming details throughout. Clean, cozy, and very pleasant. Be sure to visit the church right in front of the property—you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended!

While the room had a somewhat outdated feel, it possessed a unique charm that added to the experience.

The location is excellent, just a short distance from Piazza Duomo. The host was incredibly accommodating, even providing us with a map and detailed explanations of the must-see sites.

The room is a little "tired" and not totally functional (the kitchen has no gas).

Great location!!! The building is very nice and well renewed, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Close bus stop to reach the main parking lot at the entrance of the island. The staff is very nice and gave us plenty of useful information for the visit.

The WiFi is not great and quite unreliable. The two beds upstairs were apparently quite uncomfortable if you weigh in the 160-180 lb range. A real coffee machine (pods) would be great.

My stay at La Via della Giudecca was very pleasant. My room was well equipped, spacious and bright, and very quiet at night time despite being in the very heart of Ortigia. Signor Gianni, at reception, was very helpful and provided me with a map and advice on activities to do in the area. I highly recommend these facilities to anyone looking for convenient and yet stylish accommodation in Ortigia.

If I had to nit pick I'd say better pillows on the bed but I say that everywhere I go outside of the UK!

Such a lovely stay in a beautiful building and in my favourite part of town. Lovely helpful staff and the view from my terrace was perfection.
