We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The location is very convenient — it’s easy to reach all the main attractions. The room was spacious, bright, and perfectly clean. The beautiful, well-maintained grounds and the great pool were a real highlight — it was a pleasure to relax and spend time there. Highly recommend!

Stefano, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable with extras like a safe and fridge, complete with complimentary water. The breakfast was enjoyable, with options to sit inside or on the terrace. The pool was very clean. The hotel was handy to the supermarket and not far from the lake or old town. Great to have flyscreens.

We like to eat out and it was quite away to walk to restaurants at the time of year we travelled and we didn’t have our own transport.

Set in pretty gardens, from the moment we arrived at Le Macerine, we felt so welcome. We normally camp nearby, but as our usual campsite is closed for renovation and we were only away for a week Le Macerine provided the perfect alternative for us to see friends, with its lovely pool and sun terrace, both of which we quite often had to ourselves, and close proximity to Lake Trasimeno and the beautiful Umbrian town of Castiglione del Lago, full of artisan shops selling local produce and tempting restaurants with amazing food and panoramic views of the Lake . The air-conditioned bungalow provided the perfect respite after a day in the sun and temperatures well into the 30s, the bed was really comfortable, bedding was changed halfway through our stay, and clean towels provided every day. Then there were the breakfasts ... Wow! Croissants, pastries, delicious homemade cakes, cereals, cheese, yoghurts, juice and any coffee you wanted, served by the super friendly staff on the terrace. I can honestly say I went to bed every night looking forward to this!

The area for sunbeds was far too congested. The pool was small and it did not take many people to fill it up. Lots of children so quite noisy. Beds far too close to one another to be comfortable.

Breakfast was ok, in comparison to others we had at other places it was basic, but adequate. Staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. Good location.

The room very basic, furniture cheap and ugly, unpleasant. The room arrangements very poor, small TV installed close to the ceiling, can't see. The towels old, good for cleaning the car. This room in "normal time" can't be more then 70-80€ no 119! The hotels are recovering the pandemic damage without thinking to the customers, the prices are exagerat and with out relation to the the service and quality of the room.
