AustraliaWe were told there was parking on site but we had to pay for it as the "free" spaces were all taken up. The pool was not working due to maintenance. Hotel restaurant was expensive so we chose to eat off site. Hotel needs a little TLC but overall was pretty good.
With an early flight the location of this hotel was great. We had a hire car so were able to drop it off prior to our flight with little traffic congestion. Located a short walk to a local supermarket, chemist, shops and restaurants were close by. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. It was standard for an airport hotel.

IsraelThe hotel is located between the airport and the city, with some walking (10min) to do before you get to the port/canal areas, restaurants or beach. Still super doable but not in the middle of Fiumicino town.
The hotel staff was super friendly, in the lobby, the pool and in general. We had a long layover in Fiumicino and chose the Mercure to spend the day there. We did spend time in the outdoor pool, walked to the promenade and the beach and ate in near by restaurants.

United KingdomChecked in early and 2 pathetic small toilet rolls not enough.. infuriating and embarrassing to have to ask for loo paper! Also sign on door to pool saying it's closed.. kept being told by reception pool was open so WHY this confusing sign?
Close to airport, useful shuttle service. Nice breakfast, same restaurant for eve meal, didn't like atmosphere or food. Nice cafe at petrol station opposite. Good rooms with big shower. Bar outside nr pool with cocktails and nice snacks.
