Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe wifi didn’t work in the room
The hotel was a good option for an overnight stay between arriving at the airport and travelling on the next day.

United States of AmericaI think that the staff could be more understanding about the customers' questions and have some level of customer service. At times, my wife and I felt embarrassed to have to ask any questions because we experienced somewhat rudness when they were giving answers. Is like they expect everyone to know exactly where everything is and how to get transportation to get to where we are going. However, one young lady at the counter the day we checked out stood out from the others. She really was willing to help. The older gentleman at the restaurant was very unapproachable. At one point, he even threw a menu at the table as if he were tired of what he was doing. He really demonstrated a poor level of customer service skills.
I like the closeness to the airport and that there is a restaurant with a large selection of foods for breakfast ,lunch, and dinner.

NigeriaInternet (Wi-Fi) was terrible. It was a struggle to stay connected. It's a shame for such a beautiful hotel. I could not get any good English-speaking TV channel! I thought this was an international hotel!

United KingdomFor the price, it was excellent.
The hotel was close to the airport with a shuttle. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, of a good size, with comfortable bed and good linen, a good supply of hot water and a decent sized shower. The service in the dining room was good, as was the food - mostly home made. Some of the decor and fittings were not of the most modern but it was all perfectly satisfactory and excellent value for money.

United States of AmericaI stayed at this hotel thinking about my departure on an early flight, but it was a bad idea. The shuttle stops working at 10 pm and starts working again at 6 :40 am, and it is NOT free. Taxis at the airport will charge you 25 euros for a 5 minute drive to the hotel, absurd. Breakfast is also not included. Getting to and from this hotel is so difficult that if you don't have a car, you better stay in Rome.
The hotel is a standard hotel with large room sizes. 5 minute drive from the airport.

IsraelThe Wi-Fi signal was very weak.
We had a good stay at the Mercure Leonardo da Vinci Rome Airport, which was really handy because it's only a five-minute drive from the airport and ten minutes from downtown Fiumicino. It's a great spot for travelers who want both ease and comfort. Our room looked nice and was clean, even though it was a bit old. But that wasn't a big issue for us. Overall, we liked staying there. It was a great stop for us to relax a bit before continuing our trip.

United KingdomHotel was perfect for our needs.
This hotel has 25 hour check in. However be cautious of the taxies outside the airport! They will try and charge you 30 euro to get here when it is only a 6 min drive. Uber was cheapest. We arrived at 3am so there was no shuttle bus at this time hence the need to get the taxi. The room was perfect for a quick stay after a late flight to get your head down before moving on into Rome.
