There's nothing I didn't like, it is just that the accommodation would have benefitted by the inclusion of a microwave or a kitchenette or an electric hotplate and a few cooking utensils.

Quite basic and small, does the job for a short trip. Bathroom tap leaked a lot so we couldn’t use it.

The location was excellent right next to the colosseum, we even had a view of it from the window! Bed was very comfy.

- perfect location, really close to the Coloseum - in the wardrobe you can find a safe for your valuables, there is also a small fridge available

I think it would be useful to have some signage in the reception building that clearly indicates where the reception room is (if the building allows it of course) and having slippers in the room would have improved the experience also. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the stay.

The staff were very polite, responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Great communication and quick clarification of all inquiries. The location is really super convenient and wine glasses in the room were a really nice touch.

Even tho we checked in online, we still had to go to the office, which is only open between 10-18, which changed our plans for that day. The room also has a very narrow staircase of what might be a problem with people with mobility issues.

The location close to the colosseo and is just amazing. 5 minute walk from the station also. The room was very big, we've got the one with 2 floors. Also, our favorite restaurant in Rome turned out to be less than 90m from the hotel. Self Check in was also super smooth!

The bed was okay, could feel the springs a bit in our backs. My friend had to get extra cushioning underneath for more comfort as she had a back operation last year and it was uncomfortable without the extra.

We had a fantastic stay at HT Maximus. We were upgraded to an apartment room with a Colosseum view which was amazing!! The room was very spacious, host is excellent - very friendly and helpful! The location is perfect, directly opposite the Colosseum which made it easy to wander over on our visit and also close to the Palatine and Roman Forum. There is also a taxi rank straight outside the doors which was good as we got a taxi to the airport, made it very easy. Would highly recommend staying here!

The air-con was a bit of a faff sometimes, and I think it'd be better to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms instead of the communal corridor area but these were just really minor things.

Great location especially for the price, close to the Colosseum and anything you could need- food, drink, travel links etc. Staff were helpful before and during our trip. The room was a decent size and nicely decorated, and it had a small fridge which given the heat came in handy quite often. Would happily recommend and gladly stay again on our next visit to Rome.

Loved having the cooler thing but an actual fridge would be better. Window is only for looking out don't try to open it.

The location is awesome, looking out our window right at the Colosseum, superb view. Little quicky mart type supermarket about 100m away, lots of restaurants within 100m. Walking distance to most tourist spots. Coffee Pod coffee machine and a hot water boiler. Little fridge thing that is not a fridge, but keeps things cool (not cold) luckily the Italin wine is lovely even when not so cold. Airconditioning was fantastic.

I am not saying I disliked it, but two things I did not know that may help future visitors: 1) The room I got was a bit different from the pictures, the bed was only accessible through a narrow staircase from within the room. A bit worrying as I had my 3 year old daughter with me. As the occupancy was full, I could not get the room changed and had to stay for 2 nights. 2) This is not a hotel, it's a residence. The reception is 200 meters from the actual residence and the rooms are accessible through entering two passcodes in two different locations within the building that you have to remember (or keep saved on your phone to recall later). The rooms are on the first floor and there is no elevator so please be mindful of this when booking. There is also no room service etc.

The location is excellent, only 2-3 minutes walk from the Colosseum and you can easily get taxis, buses etc from walking in the same direction. The owner/manager, Andrea was fantastic, extremely helpful and super friendly.

Very complicated to find how and where to check in. Then very complicated to get to room . Not a traditional hotel . Maybe more common in Europe. Booking.com emailed me airport transfer was at no extra charge. Hotel arraigned 80 euros ride?? Which is 30 euros more than standard they said because of early ride ?
