Not possible to enjoy the pool without breathing cigarette smoke - a lot of guests chain smoking all day by the pool. The same goes for the restaurant, during breakfast and dinner. No hand sanitizer at the breakfast buffet. Almost all the lounge chairs by the pool were taken by people leaving towels on them in the morning, and rarely being seen around the pool all day.

We loved our stay at Hotel Rosemarie. The hotel is family run and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and we felt very looked after. The cleaners clean your room every day and so the room was very clean. The room had everything we needed and had a lovely view of the lake with the mountains behind it. The breakfast was excellent, with hot and cold options - the home made carrot cake in particular was very tasty! The location is excellent - it’s a 10 minute walk to Limone beach and a further 10 minutes to Limone centre. We loved Limone - it has great restaurants and a lovely feel to it, although it does get quite busy in the town, but that is to be expected. Limone is an excellent base to visit the northern parts of the lake - a 15 minute ferry ride to Malcesine and a 15 minute drive to Riva del Garda. It’s a bit longer to get to Sirmione, we drove and it took 1.5 hours but to be honest we much preferred Malcesine and Limone to Sirmione anyway. Overall, we loved our stay.

The only thing is double bed which is not so comftorble. It is soft but it has "hole" on inside so it feels like you are laying on unflat surface.

Clean comfortable room with balcony with the lake view. 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Very friendly staff. They do their own limoncello almost without sugar, which is worth trying and buying, it is the best I’ve ever tried.

The rooms available were only doubles (we knew when booking) so we needed a separate room for our teen daughter but it worked out ok - think she quite liked a bit of independence. Slightly worn looking sofa in the room. Car parking was a little tight but we felt confident they'd help us get somewhere if there were no spaces (which didn't happen as we did always manage to find a space).

Customer service was stand-out here! We felt welcomed and looked after, even though this was only a one-night stop-over. The room was a decent size with a good sized bathroom. A balcony over-looking the lake was a bonus. Nice swimming pool and lounging area plus a small bar for some quiet evening drinks. The set menu dinner that we paid extra for was good value and delicious. A short (10 to 15 mins) stroll will take you to the lake front, the ferry or shops and restaurants - lovely for an evening wander.

The room was not very comfortable, but clean and air-conditioned. It needs some refreshment, but the place is fantastic, with excellent staff: very good food, a comfy swimming pool, a super location and a wonderful view.

The room felt a bit old (though it was really clean and there was a decent sized TV) and probably I would have liked a bit more varied breakfast with the non-sweet meals, but we stayed 4 days and that was all right.

The hotel is in a very good location, pretty chill in the evenings (you can sleep with open windows) but not far away from the beach. The staff was fantastic and though the swimming pool is not very large, there were not to many people when we were there so we enjoyed that too. The room is OK, the bed was not that firm but still really comfortable for a good night sleep. The breakfast was quite good too, there is a greater variety with the sweets, but this is Italy. We loved Limone and for our next stay, I would happily choose this hotel again.

This hotel is very well located, a great view from the balcony room, a 5-minute walk to the beach and about 10-15 minute walk to the town. There are lots of restaurants around, and the hotel has the option to dine in as well. We did not do this, but if we had stayed longer, we would have - the food looked amazing. The staff were very helpful with tips of what to do in the area.

I have never been more misguided by reviews. The hotel was very outdated for such a price, and felt more like a motel. We were constantly disturbed by plumbing noises from neighbouring rooms, such as the sound of water running or toilets flushing. The noise from the road was also very strong.

The hotel is quite close to the town centre (~15 minutes walking) and it is possible to find a parking space in the hotel territory (it is distributed into several zones). The pool is nice and clean.
