There was no noise and it was quiet at night so I slept well. All the staff are kind. You can also spend some meaningful time by the pool.

Hotel Solvestro had the best breakfast spread out of all of our stays. It was relieving to have so many options to choose from to start our day. The location was fantastic as it was either a five minute drive or a 30 minute beautiful, scenic walk into town. The compound offers two pools which were wonderful to relax at and recharge. It has a gym to workout in and stretch to help combat travel aches. We also were delighted to eat at the restaurant at the hotel with delicious local dishes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand award. This is a great place to stay overall in Tuscany as it allows day trips to all of Tuscany’s treasures.

Breakfast was a feast, sitting outside on their patio. We ate at their restaurant one night that was so delicious, out side with the countryside of Tuscany. Food was properly prepared and service was top notch. One day we relaxed by their beautiful pool, surroundings very serene. They offer a free shuttle into San Gim which is a great feature, drops us right off in front and picked us up same spot at a certain time. There also is a back road to take if you want to walk, coming back a lot easier. Very scenic!

The hotel was just right, much larger than I anticipated too. You can walk into San Gimignano or there is a shuttle run by the hotel four times a day. The facilities were excellent, wide variety of breakfast, restaurant food was excellent and family and staff who run it really enjoy their work.

Not easy to find something to improve... maybe that the bed lights are very bright.

We stayed for four days. The walk to San Gimignano is about 30 minutes on a quite gravel road with great views over the village. The pool is perfect. Big, deep, clean & cool and enough beds & umbrella's around. Never too busy, mostly just good. You can order small dishes and drinks. The room was good, we had a comfortable bed (no split in the middle :)), decent bathroom and a large patio. The main road can be heard but is far enough so doesn't really disturbs. Most rooms are on the ground floor. The restaurant is great, just reserve in advance! Talking about the restaurant, the breakfast is exceptional! Lot of choices, good coffee and a fresh orange squeezer. Staff is great. Thank you Sovestro!

Absolutely nothing. Great place!

The atmosphere, food, staff, rooms, and honestly everything was wonderful. We felt extremely comfortable the whole time we were there, wanting to stay longer if we could. The restaurant was great as well. We liked it so much we went a couple of times! My wife is GF and the selction between GF and other foods was really comforting. The pools were very well kept, and have no complaints. The room was phenomenal, with really great A/C. Parking was readily available, so we never had to stress where to park. We are already wanting to book another stay in the future!

There is a restaurant onsite and it would be really helpful with the booking if the hotel would recommend booking this. Although it is a large restaurant they book out and hotel guests do not get first preference. We arrived the Wednesday and we’re told about the restraint for dinner and upon coming for dinner we’re told no way without reservation. You then have to drive to find another restaurant. They also close the restraint on Thursdays. We finally got to eat there the Friday and it was average.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location! So quick to get some amazing wineries and San Gimignano. The pool is lovely and the breakfast was pretty good!

I loved this place.

It is beautiful. The hotel was being cleaned while we were there so we knew right away it was a clean place. The check in was super easy. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but they were good enough and the room was quiet. The pool is AMAZING! There was someone delivering drinks and they had a pool menu. The grounds are lovely to walk and it is a close drive or shuttle to town. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good. In the morning, they provide the best breakfast I have ever received with a stay in my life. My daughter and I were beyond impressed with the breakfast! All in all, I would return over and over again.

Everything. This is a well run professional hotel run by a family, what could be better. it is clean to a fault, all staff are friendly and happy. The pool and gardens are stunning and the breakfast and restaurant are wonderful. I was last at this hotel in 2007, we loved it then and little has changed

Helpful cheerful staff. Excellent breakfast and lovely evening meal. 20 min walk along unmade quiet road into San Gimignano although the hotel offers a free minibus several times a day for those who don't want to walk. Comfortable bed and good ensuite
