Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFantastic B&B room, fitted out in a stylish high quality manner. The host Giuseppe was very helpful in advance and when we arrived. We had an early Sunday morning departure to catch the ferry so skipped breakfast but the idea of having it in a local cafe is so much nicer than the usual breakfast room. Reggio Calabria is a lovely little town & no doubt at all we will stay in Town House again when we return!

United StatesBreakfast is coffee and pastries the cafe next door. This is normal in Italy, from my experience, but as tourists we can't keep eating carbs for every meal.
As soon as we arrived Giuseppe provided us with a free parking spot. The room feels big and fancy. It has a large bed with faux palace decoration. There is even a playstation, a strong AC, and good storage space. The location is very central; it is only 2 minutes from the duomo and 5 minutes from the Lungomare.

AustriaSome confusion happened: we originally booked 2 separate bedrooms but we ended sharing a (bigger) apartment with 2 bedrooms inside. In the end it was not a problem as the 2 rooms within the apartment were separated
Location, friendly staff

Canadano issue or problems at all
town house provided us a spacious modern b&b in a great location near the promenade , beach and heart of the city. what made our stay even more enjoyable was the extremely helpful and wonderful giuseppe who found us free parking , helped with dinner reservations and with any question or need we had while in reggio c. Breakfast was provided across the street in a nice cafe. All in all a great stay and we would not hesitate to recommend town house cavour to anyone staying in reggio calabria.

United StatesThe water in the shower would not stay at a temperature - probably because this is an older building - such a small problem .
The group of rooms has a nice, small lobby with a coffee maker, teas and snacks. Thta was really nice. There was an elevator. Giuseppe was amazing and helped us get free parking, recommended things to see and restaurants (where we got a discount). His recommendations were really helpful. Our room was large and really well appointed. The balcony is small but you can see the sea. The best part was the location - a small block to the main pedestrian street but only 2 blocks to the promonade by the sea. We just left the car and walked everywhere.

Fabulous accomodation in a superb location in Reggio Calabria. You can see the cathedral from the balcony. Giuseppe was the perfect host with lots of recommendations on what to see and where to eat in the area . He also arranged late check out and transport from the train station and a taxi to the airport. Breakfast was delicious in the bar across the street. We would definitely recommend Town House Cavour and will stay again if we return to Calabria

United StatesThe room was clean. The air conditioner worked great . Comfortable room with a balcony. Town house cavour is near restaurants, square . Easy to walk around town. The best thing about townhouse cavour is the host Giuseppe. He is amazing and such a joy. There is nothing he can’t take care of. He helped us arrange taxi service whenever we needed it no matter what time I called or text him. We had an issue with getting on the wrong train at night in sicily. We called guiseppe and he helped us until we were safe back in Reggio Calabria . Thank you Guiseppe from jackie and letty!

United KingdomThe only improvement could be done with the breakfast. It was at a caffe across the road, plenty of nice cakes, brioches, and a good coffee, but nothing savoury. At least a yoghurt would be a good addition

AustraliaUpon arrival Giuseppe was very accomodating. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was luxurious, clean and spacious. We only stayed 1 night in Reggio Calabria, and Giuseppe provided some insightful recommendations for quality restaurants and bars for the night. We loved Reggio Calabria and will be sure spend longer in the city to experience the great restaurants, nightlife and more. I highly recommend town house Cavour and will be staying there again next time in Reggio Calabria.
